The U.SS Enterprise orbits around Star-Base 12 for shore-leave and it is the first time that the officers and crew have received shore-leave.
Captain James T Kirk speaks with Lord Andrew Charles Howard, the new Duke of Norfolk Territory in Norfolk Territory on Star-Base 12, but the beam-down point is in Bedford Territory and Lord Andrew Charles tells Captain James T Kirk " I will have to talk to my second cousin, Lord Richard William Carey as he is Duke of Bedford Territory."
" I will be waiting to hear back from Lord Howard." Captain Kirk tells him " My officers and I haven't had shore-leave for five years."
"I am sure that Lord Richard Willliam Carey will grant the request and if not you have my permission to beam down in Norfolk Territory and my Duchess and I will give your officers and you a palace to live here while you take your shore-leave." Lord Andrew Charles tells Captain James Kirk.
The first three to be transported down are Captain James T Kirk, Lt. Commander Spock and Dr. Leonard McCoy, and waiting at the beam down point are Lord Andrew Charles Howard, Duke of Norfolk Territory, Lord Richard Willilam Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann holding Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane in her arms.
Captain James T Kirk, Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy all walk up to where Lord Andrew Charles, Lord Richard William and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann are waiting to greet them and they bow to them and Lord Richard William Carey tells them " Welcome To Star Base 12 and Bedford Territory."
"Thank-you. Lord Carey." James T Kirk tells him.
"I am Lord Andrew Charles Howard, Duke of Norfolk Territory and this is my wife, Duchess, Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann and my heiress, Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane." Lord Andrew Charles tells them.
"Lord Howard. You have a very handsome family." James Kirk tells him.
"My father is very happy now that Norfolk Territory is secure." Lord Andrew Charles tells him.
"Lady Karissa and I have decided to offer all three of you a suite at Beltane Manor." Lord Andrew Charles tells them.
"We have a fine library, music, room, living room, garden, and we have a good cook." Lord Andrew Charles tells them.
"I have a valet if you need one." Lord Andrew Charles states " You may use one of the carriages to get you around."
"How long is your shore-leave?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"We are here for three weeks." James T Kirk tells Lord Andrew Charles Howard.
"We have a wonderful garden at Beltane Manor.' Lady Karissa tells them " Please feel free to use it."
"You have a fine daughter, Lord Howard?" Bones McCoy tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"Thank you, Dr. McCoy. She resembles her great-grandmother, Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Spencer-Churchill.' Lord Andrew Charles explains.
"Do you have any children, Dr. McCoy?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"I have a 25 years old daughter, Joanna." Bones McCoy tells him.
"I am afraid that my former wife and I didn't have a friendly divorce and she turned our daughter against me." Bones explains.
"How tragic?" Lady Karissa tells him ' Dear Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR had to wait for his first male line grandchild for 33 years.'
"Do you have any children, Captain Kirk?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"I used to have a son, David, but I didn't even know he was alive until he was 20 years old." James Kirk explains, " His mother never told me she was even pregnant with him. "
"David was murdered by those damn Klingons.' Jim Kirk tells Lord Andrew Charles.
Captain Kirk pulls out a picture of his deceased son, Ensign David Kirk, and he is dressed in his Starfleet Uniform.

"What a fine young man and I am sorry for your loss." Lord Andrew Charles tells James Kirk.
Dr. McCoy pulls the last picture of Joanna out of his wallet and he shows Lord Andrew Charles and he says " She is very pretty, Dr. McCoy."

"My Duchess and I only have one child right now and she is only three months old." Lord Andrew Charles explains.
"It keeps my father quiet for now." Lord Andrew Charles admits.
"How is Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR?" James Kirk asks.
"Oh! My father is fine and he is remarried." Lord Andrew Charles states " He is Duke of York Territory now."
Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, and Bones McCoy walk behind Lord Andrew Charles, Lord Richard William and Lady Karissa carrying Lady Elizabeth and they climb into the Howard carriage and start on their way to Beltane Manor.
