Lord Andrew Charles Howard, Duke of Westminster Territory is not amused to hear that his first granddaughter and grandchild, Lady Karissa Ann Howard is going to marry her second cousin, Lord Frederick William Howard The Fourth as he was not amused when his daughter, Lady Sophia Dorothea was going to marry his older brother, Lord William Frederick Howard.
When Lord Andrew Charles Howard hears that his eldest grandchild and granddaughter, Lady Karissa Ann is going to marry Lord Frederick William Howard The Fourth, the youngest son of his first cousin, Lord Frederick William Howard The Third. He is not amused.
Lord Andrew Charles Howard orders his carriage and he goes to Beltane Manor where he is greeted by Lady Karissa and Lord Richard Willliam Carey, his second cousin.
I heard the news that our oldest granddaughter is going to marry Lord Frederick William Howard The fourth. The second son of my grandfather' s oldest brother will not do for our oldest granddaughter. One day she will become Duchess of Norfolk Territory. She must marry the oldest son as she is the oldest daughter of our oldest daughter." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"I don't think you have any say in the matter, Andrew Charles Howard as you are not Lady Karissa's mother or father." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Lady Elizabeth and Lord Richard Edward Howard The Third haven't disapproved of the match as far as I know." Lady Karissa explains.
"Lord Frederick Willlam Howard The Third is your first cousin, and you didn't approve of Lady Sophia Dorothea marrying his older brother, Lord William Frederick Howard, but they have given you a granddaughter, Lady Andrea Charlene Howard." Lady Karissa reminds him.
"Once again our children marry beneath them." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"I don't think so, Lord Andrew Charles. They are happy and that is all that matters to me." Lady Karissa tells him.
"We are all but human, Lord Andrew Charles. We are hopelessly flawed, imperfect, and none of us are without sin, and we can only strive to be the best we can." Lady Karissa tells him.
"I recommend that you be happy for our eldest granddaughter as she just had her coming out align with your niece, Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann and she is betrothed to Lord Albert Edward Spencer-Churchill, and she is very happy." Lady Karissa tells him " Remember we just lost your oldest brother and her father."
"It grieves me to have lost my oldest brother, and I wonder who is next?" Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"There is no telling, Lord Andrew Charles as both of your sisters live on Star Base 10." Lady Karissa tells him.
"We don't hear much news from Lady Patricia or Lady Charlotte Augusta." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Lady Patricia did tell me that Lord Patrick William is doing very well for a man of his age. He has some aches and pains but that is to be expected." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"Lord Charles Andrew Howard The Fourth is taking care of his mother, Lady Millicent who is now 50 years old." Lady Karissa states.
"Dear sweet Lady Millicent was very devoted to your oldest brother." Lady Karissa admits.
"She gave him two fine children." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"Lady Charlotte Andrea Somerset resembles Lady Millicent." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"I heard that Lady Charlotte Victoria Maud and Lord Edward are expecting their second child soon." Lady Karissa tells him.
"No doubt that child will look like her maternal grandmother.' Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann resembles your brother and I am glad that she does as she will lead Sussex Territory into the future and she told me that she will name her daughter after her dear father, Lord Charles Andrew and give her the name of Lady Charlene Andrea Howard." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann doesn't want anyone to ever forget her father." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"How can I forget my oldest brother. We grew up together but before I was one year old. He was married off and he wasn't happy." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"Lord Charles Andrew Howard The Third was old and he knew his time was short." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane walks in Lady Karissa Ann by her side and she looks at her father "What brings you out of hiding my father.?"
'You do, Lady Elizabeth." Lord Andrew Charles tells his oldest daughter "I am not amused with the news that my oldest grandchild is going to marry beneath her."
"What father? Do you dare tell me how to raise my children when you were always an absentee father." Lady Elizabeth asks her father.
"I don't think you have any business in telling Lord Richard Edward The Third and I how to raise our three children when you couldn't even raise your six children." Lady Elizabeth tells her father.
"Lady Karissa Ann is only 15 years old, and so is Lord Frederick William Howard The Fourth and they can't marry until 2313." Lady Elizabeth explains, "They are courting each other in the company of Lady Mary Henrietta and me."
"They are never left alone." Lady Elizabeth tells her father.
"My dear father. I have named my second daughter in your honor, Lady Andrea Charlene Howard and she is only ten years old." Lady Elizabeth states.
"Lord Richard Edward Howard The Fourth is expected to attend the next coming out and Lord Richard Edward The Third is quite capable of finding our son a suitable bride." Lady Elizabeth tells him.
Lord Andrew Charles Howard looks at his oldest daughter, " I am not amused with this match."
"
I don't care if you are or if you are not my father." Lady Elizabeth tells him, " I am her mother and Lord Richard Edward The Third is her father and your first cousin approves of the match."
"Why shouldn't he, Lady Elizabeth. He is the only son of the second son of your great-grandfather." Lord Andrew Charles states " He didn't have any pressure on him to marry and produce an heir/heiress for our grandfather." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Your two uncles and I did since the day we came of age and all we heard from your grandfather was hurry up, marry and give your grandfather his heir or heiress." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Elizabeth.
"I spared all your mother and my children as I got sick and tired of hearing it." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Elizabeth.
Lady Karissa Ann looks at her grandfather " I love Lord Frederick William Howard The Fourth, grandfather. I will marry him." Lady Karissa Ann looks at her grandfather.
"He is handsome, gallant, and romantic to boot." Lady Karissa Ann tells her grandfather.
"I don't care if he is the second son." Lady Karissa Ann tells her father " I love him."
"We will give Lord Patrick William Howard his first male line great-great-great-great-great-grandchild." Lady Karissa Ann explains "We will give Lord Frederick Willliam Howard The Second his first male line great-great-grandson."
"We have already chosen her name Lady Victoria Elizabeth Howard." Lady Karissa Ann tells her grandfather "She will be your great-granddaughter, but Lord Frederick William Howard The Third, granddaughter."
"We only want three children." Lady Karissa Ann confesses.
Lord Andrew Charles looks at his oldest granddaughter, " I want you to be happy, Lady Karissa Ann and if Lord Frederick William Howard The fourth makes you happy. You have my blessing." Lord Andrew Charles tells his oldest granddaughter.
Lady Karissa Ann walks over to her grandfather and she places her arms around his neck and she tells him "I love you grandfather."
Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa Ann "I love you too my dearest Lady Karissa Ann and you remind me of your dear grandmother that you share her name with."
Lady Elizabeth smiles and she nods.
