Nine

-June 24 2010-

Eddie woke up exhausted. Last night he stayed up super late to get some private time to chat with Buck. It felt like he was in middle school sneaking extra computer time. He's surprised he didn't actually go hide in the closet.

Eddie and Buck started off texting through the night. Then when he had laid down to fall asleep Buck sent Eddie that damn photo.

That photo was of him butt naked, ass up in the air. Eddie felt all his blood rush south. His mouth went dry. Another photo. Bucks hard cock in his hands. Eddie felt dizzy. He quickly locked the door and called him.

"You are an ass" he cursed into the phone

"I know, but I'm a hot ass"

"Buck I miss youuu, I wanna get on my knees for you" he wined lightly palming his own growing erection.

"Mmm you would like that?" Buck whispered

"Yeah, I would"

This went on until the early hours of the morning, Eddie finally found his release and Buck did too. He wished he was with Buck, he wanted that warm and safe hold. But he was alone.

Now he's awake too dang early, they are bringing Adriana home today, then he flies back Saturday.... Saturday he gets to be back in Bucks arms. That's the only thing keeping him going.

Adriana has done so well healing up. A few broken bones, and she will still have a long way to go before she is fully recovered. But with the help of crutches and mom and dad she can get around okay. Her work has a nice paid leave plan for medical emergencies so she will be okay. It definitely calms Eddie's nerves about her health. Seeing her in pain still hurts him . She's always been such a role model.

That night after mom and dad left, going out to dinner with their work friends. Sophia had gone out with her boyfriend so just Eddie and Adriana were left alone.

That's when it happened. Eddie was cooking her some dinner and his phone started ringing in the living room.

"Hello who's this?" Adriana laughed on the end.

Eddie's spatula dropped as he ran in there,

"Oh hi Buck! I didn't know Edmundo was cool enough to have friends!" She swatted Eddie's hand away.

"Adriana, phone, now." He yelled

She kinda looked Eddie up and down, sighing "bye Bucky"

He snatched his phone from her and walked back to the meals.

"I'm so sorry" Eddie apologized to him

"It's fine Edmundo" Buck said in a husky voice that made his heart beat a little bit faster

They talked while Eddie finished dinner, telling him he'd text later. Adriana and him ate in silence. Then she spoke up.

"Eddie I know your gay" she said breaking the sound barrier in his head.

Those words just shut him down. His heart raced and he stood up to run. He'd sleep in the airport for two days.

"I- I'm not. I" he stuttered.

"Eddie stop, I've known since you were fifteen." She told him.

"Adriana" he spat out

She just smiles at him. With the most loving and caring eyes. And Eddie lost it. He broke down and lost it.

"It's okay Eddie.. shh" she soothed.

"Don't tell anyone. You can't. I... I have to be careful" he begged her.

"I've been keeping it a secret for what? Like five years. I know how mom and dad are. I got you"

He nods.

"So Buck... you like him?"

He nods again.

"We're together" he whispered.

She cheered and hugged him. He still felt sick. He didn't like telling her. But obviously she knew and hasn't told anyone. She was the best person Eddie could ask for. He showed her a picture of Buck. She agreed that he was very cute. Soon Mom, Dad and Sophia came home. Eddie retreated back to the room. One more full day and then he will get dropped back at the airport Saturday morning.

-June 26 2010-

Mom made Eddie get to the airport 3 hours early. One thing about immigrant parents is they are always early unless it's to a Parrillada or cumpleaños. He thanked Adriana a million times this morning before getting into the car. It was honestly relieving to have someone know. It was nice to just talk to her without having to worry about what he said.

The flight back to Galveston seemed to take ten hours. It felt like forever. He just wanted to be back.

Then he was in Bucks arms, and the whole world felt right again. He kissed him,

"I love you" Eddie said.

He stepped back. He didn't mean to say that.. Eddie did love him but, are they ready for that... He was just so happy to have him back.

"Edmundo, I love you too" he pulled Eddie back.

This weekend Buck had to work but they started planning a little trip for over the fourth of July. He was off from the thirtieth of June until the fifth of July. Eddie wanted to make a special trip out of it. They decided to drive up to San Antonio for those days. Eddie wanted to show him a bigger part of Texas and he loved the city of San Antonio. The river walk was always so beautiful.

Eddie sat at the bar for most of the weekend, making small conversation with Cass and Buck. Eventually sometime Sunday, Kelly their manager asked if Eddie wanted to buss tables for quick cash.

"Since your hanging out here... I thought I'd offer." Kelly told Eddie:

He shrugs and agrees. Better than possibly being asked to leave, since he was technically just sipping on free waters the whole day. He snuck to the employee area and put on a apron.

"You look cute in that" Buck teased from behind. "Maybe you should take it home, I'd love to see you in just that little apron"

Eddie flushed red and walked out, back to the bar. Starting to help clean up glasses and wipe down tables.

At the end of both Sunday and Monday night he helped Buck and Cass wash dishes also. Kelly slipped him 40 bucks and winked at Eddie. Kelly knew he was just here for Buck. Knew that if it wasn't for Buck he'd be anywhere else.

"Have fun you two" Kelly said as they left
