The older woman told them that everyone was going to make a Risotto. That sounded way to fancy for Bucks ability.

They started out by warming chicken Broth on the stove, Buck was to watch the pot and make sure it didn't bubble, Eddie chopped the Shallot up.

"Hand me that bigger pan" Eddie asked Buck once everything was chopped.

Eddie grabbed a bit of butter and then Buck added the Shallot choppings to the pan, Eddie threw in some seasoning.

Eddie added in rice as the instructor told everyone to watch it carefully to not brown it. Buck stirred everything together smiling over to Eddie here and there to make sure he was doing okay. Eddie reciprocating with sweet nods and light kisses.

"Now, if you all haven't drank all of your white wine, add in a splash." The instructor joked.

Eddie followed through, letting it simmer, Buck stirring constantly, until the wine had completely reduced and the pan was nearly dry.

"Begin incrementally adding the broth, half a cup at a time, stirring regularly between additions." The instructor told everyone

Buck helped ladle over the broth, while Eddie watched him, stirring the meal.

"You are doing so good" Eddie leaned in and whispered

Buck almost dropped the hot pan he was holding. Lightly coughing to himself and walking to the sink with rosy blushed cheeks.

Eddie smirked as he turned off the heat, the food was ready.

"See you didn't burn it." Eddie told Buck once he was back from washing the pots.

"I guess, only because of you" he shrugged,

They both walked over, finishing the dishes and then sitting at the dinning tables in the building, trying their hard work out.

"Mmmhh so good" Buck groaned spoon still resting on his lips.

"Home cooked is wayyyy better than fast food" Eddie agreed.

Later on that evening, they both walked around a local park, watching the passing by parents push their kids on the swings, or the guy throwing a frisbee for his Belgian Malinois dog. Hand in hand.

Neither of them exactly speaking, but at the same time, both reading each other's bodies. Speaking on a different level that only two people, so in love could understand. Eddie could read the way Bucks eyes lit up watching that dog chase and catch the frisbee in the air. The way Buck understood Eddies heart beating faster as some guy glared them down.

Then the ways that Buck calmed those nerves by leaning in and kissing at his neck, the way that makes Eddie melt.

Every movement of theirs were in sync with the world, but in the same breath it felt like it was just them. As if the universe was created for them to be here in that moment.

Buck and Eddie sat at a local pub style restaurant, eating some lunch together as Eddie's phone began to ring.

"I, don't know if I want to enlist anymore mom" he said hushed.

Getting up from the table and walking outside.

"No, no"

"She isn't pregnant"

"MAMA!" He rolled his eyes. "Fine!"

Eddie huffed and hung up on her. Trotting back inside slumping down at the table.

"What's wrong?" Buck asked
