Chapter 75/76- Lynchian/ Killing Mr Honey

"You want me and Pea to do what now?" I look at Raggie confused
"It's easy money. People pay a lot of money to watch it and it's not like either of you have to be naked for this. Think about how many people will watch the title 'tickled by my ex girlfriend and her boyfriend' or 'ex boyfriend and current boyfriend tickle girlfriend' see" Reggie exclaims looking between Sweet Pea and I
"I'm not sure about this Reggie"
"It sounds a little weird man" Pea says putting an arm around my shoulders
"It's not that weird" Reggie defends himself
"Anyway Sweet Pea isn't ticklish and you know what I get like if I'm tickled"
"Yeah alright"
"Sorry Reg"
"Yeah don't worry about it" Reggie says looking upset with out decision before leaving me and Pea alone at Pops.

"I'm pretty serious about the Naval Academy" I hear Archie say as I walk past his room
"That's wonderful news Archie" mom says. I poke my head into Archie's room
"I know I've been kinda flaky lately but I'm all in now. Promise I think it's time for a fresh start"
"Maybe you could invite Brook over for dinner on evening?" I lean against the door frame
"I think that's a wonderful idea. I'll give her all and tell her the good news" mom smiles excitedly.

"Breaking news everybody" Jughead walks into the student lounge with a smile on his face. I'm sat on Sweet Peas lap while we both try to study "the University of Iowa has one of the best writing programs in the country. I applied for the spring, but then they told me they could take me as early as fall"
"Ah that's amazing Jug!" I smile "even if that means your not joining me at Yale anymore"
"Your a good writer Bro" Archie says from his seat
"So this acceptance is conditional?" Cheryl asks
"Yeah. They require additional materials, which means I need another story. But this could be my redemption after that Stonewall hell. The only problem is, the well of my creative unconscious is tapped out"
"Well, you could write a monster story
about Mr. Honey" Betty says walking into the room
"What did he do?" I ask
"Honey is refusing to publish the yearbook"
"Dick" i mutter
"B, if it's about money, I'm happy to help pay for the printing"
"Thank you, V. But it's the principle of it. Mr.
Honey has been on our case since day one. Do you remember when he threatened us on our first day back? And how many of us are already banned from going to prom?"
"Fangs, Reggie, Toni and I are all banned
because of Ticklegate"
"I'm banned because of what I said to him when we dressed in drag. Pea won't go without me"
"And I'm out because of that bogus quiz show cheating scandal"
"Lest we not forget my transcendent rendition of 'Cherry Bomb' which got Veronica, the Vixens and myself barred from the promenade" Cheryl states
"So literally the only people going to prom are..." Jug and Archie smile at each other
"You wanna go to prom with me, Jug?"
"I'd be honored. But I'm not putting out"
"Let the fan fiction begin" Kevin says making me laugh
"Cousin Betty, I share your outrage. Something must be done to stop this heinous villain"
"Like what? Every time we make a move against him, he hits us back" Veronica interjects
"Archie isn't even allowed to walk with us at graduation"
"Although one thing that would stop Mr. Honey, is if we killed him" Betty says earning some very confused looks from all of us "or scared him enough to leave town. I mean, it would be so easy. Mr Honey works late on Tuesdays.
He usually leaves around 9"
"Wouldn't he recognised us?" Pea says pulling me tighter to him
"Good point, Sweet Pea. Okay, let's say, we wear bunny masks and Stonewall Prep jackets"
"I could sneak up on him. Knock him down, knock him down" Archie says
"Then we'd tie him up and stuff him into the trunk of a car. What do you say, Reggie?
Can we borrow Bella for this?" Betty asks
"After the way Honey trashed her on Halloween night? Hell yeah"
"God I forgot about Halloween night"
"My family still owns that cabin in Fox Forest"
"Then we take him there. And make him think he's gonna die"
"And I know just the way we can do that. Veronica? Do you remember when we maple-boarded my monster of a Mumzie?" Veronica nods her head
"At least that's one way we could get our revenge"
"Or..." I interrupt Betty "we just have our own prom at Pops like I suggested
"Or we could pull off a classic senior prank"
"Of course you'd suggest a prank Reg" I shake my head.
We watch as Mr Honey is wheeled out of his office by a fireman
"Well Reg I have to say this has made my day" I laugh taking photos.

"Brace yourselves bitches. I just saw our most hated foe, the malefactor Honey, entering his office"
"His ass still glued to his chair?" Archie asks throwing a ball to Reggie earning a chuckle from all of us
"I heard they had to use turpentine to unstick him" Kevin says leaning back into his chair
"He was smelling particularly odious"
"Students of Riverdale High..." Mr Honeys voice over the speaker cuts Cheryl off "unless the person or persons responsible for yesterdays so called prank step forward, prom is officially canceled" I groan
"knew it. I knew your juvenile antics were going to end in tragedy. Turn thyself in now Reginald"
"No way. I pranked him of behalf of all of us"
"Hey Cher don't pretend that you weren't just laughing about it 2 minutes ago, but I guess that's it then" I turn in Peas lap and look at him "wanna skip?" I wiggle my eyebrows
"Let's go"
"See ya later" I call out and take Peas hand before leaving school early. 

Prom is back on! Thanks to all of our parents have a meeting with Mr Honey. We celebrated this at Pops. Everyone is on a high, especially after watching Mr Honey walking down the school hallway with a box of his things, although he's now stonewall preps new head teacher, either way he's gone. We get our prom, to graduate, to go to collage. The next few months are going to be good.
