"Where are we?" Coral asked.
"The mall." Shimmer replied. "However, I don't know where my sisters are."
"Hi, Shimmer." an all pink girl with purple tips in her hair said. "Who's that?"
"Oh. Hi, Raina." Shimmer replied. "This is Coral. My sisters and I met her during spring break."
"I go to Royal Academy, also." Coral added.
"Oh." Raina exclaimed. "I remember seeing you in swim class. Sorry, I didn't recognize you at first."
"It's all good." Coral replied.
"Hey, guys." a purple girl with blue and black hair said.
"Ugh. Hello, River." Shimmer replied.
"So, this is Coral." River said.
"Yes, I am." Coral replied.
"Hmm." River said.
"River, be nice." Raina commented.
"Fine." River replied.
"Thank you." Raina said. "Speaking of your sisters, Shimmer. Where are they?"
"No idea." Shimmer replied. "Hang on, my phone's going off." Shimmer then pulled out her phone from nowhere and checked it. She looked at in confusion. "Huh, that's weird."
"What is?" Coral asked.
"My friend, Pinkie, just said we're no longer friends." Shimmer replied.
"If I remember correctly, you and Pinkie are really close friends." Raina said. "Why would she end it? And through text of all things."
"I don't know but I'm gonna find out." Shimmer replied as she entered the mall. Shimmer looked around until she saw Pinkie being comforted by her boyfriend, Cheese. "Hey, guys."
Cheese stood up and got in Shimmer's face. "What did you do?"
"That's what I'm trying to figure out." Shimmer replied.
"You know what you did, ex friend." Pinkie said while crying and deflated.
"Pinkie, I genuinely have no idea what you're talking about." Shimmer replied. "I wasn't here. I was with Coral."
"You weren't here." Pinkie repeated in disbelief.
"No. I just got here." Shimmer said.
"Then who was being awful to me?" Pinkie asked in confusion.
"I was." a girl that looked kinda like Shimmer replied as she walked towards them.
"No, not her again." River said as she hid behind Raina.
"Nice to see you to, River." the girl said.
"Um, Shimmer." Coral said. "Why does she look like you? I thought Twinkle was your only twin."
"She is." Shimmer replied. " However, this is Suffer. She's a mean clone of me."
"Wait, that's Suffer." Pinkie exclaimed in realization. "Cheese told me about her."
"I guess I forgot to show you what she looked like." Cheese admitted.
"Why are you being mean to my friends?" Shimmer asked in anger.
"It's just what I do." Suffer replied.
"Leave them alone." Shimmer demanded.
"Ugh, whatever." Suffer scoffed as she walked away. "I have better things to do, anyway."
"So do we." Shimmer said.
"Like what?" Pinkie asked curiously.
"There's a ball tonight at Royal Academy." River replied.
"Oh, have fun." Pinkie said as she reflated.
"And Shimmer has a date." Twinkle added as she and Crystal joined them.
\ Shimmer gasped. "It's not a date. We are going as friends."
"I know." Twinkle replied with a knowing grin. "I just wanna mess with you.
"Ooh. Who ya going with?" Raina asked.
"Popsicle, he's the prince of Sweetestria." Shimmer replied.
River scoffed. "I'm going with no one."
"Wait, why not?" Shimmer said.
"As you can probably guess, I got asked by a ton of guys. However, I was interested in none of them." River replied.
"So, you're going to the ball, by yourself?" Raina asked in disbelief.
River nodded.
"That's surprising." Raina said. "Anyways, do you have a date, Coral?"
"No." Coral replied. "However, there's a reason for that."
"What's the reason?" Twinkle asked.
"I have a boyfriend." Coral replied. "And before you ask, no he doesn't go to Royal Academy."
"You're boyfriend isn't a prince?" River asked in confused disbelief.
Coral shook her head. "His name is Trident Reef, he's from my kingdom."
"Hey, why don't we all just go shopping?" Shimmer suggested.
"Good idea, big sis." Crystal agreed as they all did so.
