"Welcome back to swim class, everyone." Lilac said. "River and Shell, I hope you've improved."
"We certainly have, Miss Lilac." River replied.
"Alright then, show me." Lilac said.
River did as she was told.
"Wow, River." Lilac exclaimed. "You have improved."
"Thanks, Miss Lilac." River replied. "You're up, Shell."
"Oh. Um, ok." Shell said as she did her new entrance.
"Well done, Shell." Lilac exclaimed.
"Thank you." Shell replied.
"Alright." Lilac said. "The only other one I need to see the entrance of is Shimmer."
"Ok." Shimmer said. "Here I go." She then did as she was instructed.
"Marvelous, Shimmer." Lilac exclaimed.
"Thank you, Miss Lilac." Shimmer said with a smile.
"It's only been one day and you all have improved so much." Lilac announced.
~Time Skip~
The days seem to just fly on by and before anyone knew it. The day of the ball was upon them.
"Shimmer, wait." Popsicle called as Shimmer was on her way out of the school.
"Oh, hi Popsicle." Shimmer said as she stopped and turned to face him.
"I wanted to ask you this sooner but you walked away before I had the chance." Popsicle said. "Will you go to the ball, with me?"
"No one else has asked me, so sure." Shimmer replied.
"Really?" Popsicle asked in disbelief.
Shimmer nodded.
"Alright." Popsicle said. "I'll pick you up at your castle."
"Sounds good." Shimmer replied. "See ya soon."
Popsicle watched Shimmer leave as he thought to himself. "So, close."
