"There's my gorgeous girl!" Liz grinned as you came downstairs.

You couldn't help but smile in response as her words helped you feel even more confident in your outfit.

Liz is supposed to attend an event tonight and, obviously, she wanted you to come with her.

You agreed since you know how important it is to her and a night out sounded great.

"You look so beautiful."

"So do you, baby." You smiled before kissing her softly.

"You're going to turn everyone's head tonight. All eyes are going to be on you." She said as she stared into your eyes. "You're just so pretty."

"Liz," You chuckled shyly.

"If being beautiful was a crime, you'd be guilty as charged."

You shook your head with a smile.

"If I were a cat, I'd spend all nine of my lives with you."

"Oh, babe," You giggled as your heart started to leap.

"I think someone stole all of the stars from the sky and put them in your eyes."

And then, at that, the butterflies filled your chest.

"Is it hot in here? Or is it just you?" She asked as she began to fan herself.

"Stop." You giggled as you began to become shy once more.

It doesn't matter that you and Liz have been together for a while now, she still manages to make your heart skip a beat and still makes you a little shy with her flirting.

"Are you a campfire? Because you're hot and I want s'more."

You leaned in and gave her a kiss, making her hum against your lips.

"How do you still manage to make me feel weak in the knees and make my heart hammer against my chest even after all this time?"

"I just love you, baby, and I know how to show it." She smiled, kissing you again. "And flirting with you is one of my favorite things to do."

"I love it when you say these things to me. It makes me feel good."

"I'll just have to do it more often then, huh?" She asked as she held you in her arms.

"I wish I could get you up to bed and out of this outfit. As good as it looks on you, it'd look even better on our bedroom floor."

"Later, baby. I promise." You winked before kissing her a few more times. "We have to get going."

She whined but followed you out the door, ready for a fun night out.

But she had to admit that she was especially excited to just get it over with so she could get you home and back in her arms.
