you wear her shirt

Ever since you came into her life it was rare that Liz ever woke up without a smile on her face. Today was no different. She could hear your voice coming from downstairs and the delicious smell of breakfast floating through the air.

She didn't waste a single second in getting out of bed. Her bare feet echoed against the stairs as she bounced down them excitedly, but she froze on her feet when she reached the last step, mesmerized by the sight that awaited her.

Your back was facing her but you looked too cute for words as you busied yourself with making breakfast in just her shirt and your hair in a messy bun. She couldn't help the way her tongue darted out to glide along her dry lips before she tugged her lower lip between her teeth.

"Good morning, cutie." She said as she came up behind you and pulled you into her arms. She kissed your shoulder, loving the cute little giggle that fell from your lips in response.

You spun around to face her. If she wasn't smiling before she definitely was now when she saw you grin at her, the happiness in your eyes clear as day. "Good morning! How did you sleep?"

She put her hands on your hips before letting them slide to your back so she could bring you closer. "Like a rock." She laughed. "You?"

"The same. It was nice to sleep in your arms. Made me feel safe and warm all through the night."

She kissed your forehead softly, wanting nothing more than to let her lips travel down to yours to bring you in for a passionate kiss. But you were turning back around before she got the chance, occupied with whatever it was that you were making.

"You don't even know how adorable you look right now, do you?" She whispered as she pulled at the collar of her shirt, pulling it down so she could leave little butterfly kisses against your skin. "You're beautiful, and I love you."

It's been five months that you've been together now, and yet, she still makes you blush.

Your cheeks turned red and you craned your neck to give her a kiss. She melted into it, letting her lips move in perfect sync with yours. You could feel her heartbeat and feel the love emitting from each brush of her lips against yours.

Suddenly, she was picking you up and setting you onto the counter. You threw your head back with a laugh and pointed to the food. "I need to finish breakfast!"

She nodded her head but gently hooked her fingers under your chin. The look in her eyes made your heart skip a beat. She looked so happy, so in love, and the fact that you were the reason why made you feel something indescribable.

"In a minute, baby. Let me just kiss you for a moment."

Well, could you ever say no to that?

Her lips were back on yours. Your arms wrapped around her neck as you both basked in the love you both share for each other.
