Even in the kitchen, you could still hear the loud laughter coming from your friends in the other room.

Movie nights have always been your thing whenever you all get the chance to have them. Tonight you got to bring Liz along with you since it's the first of many of her days off coming up.

The movie they wanted to start off with didn't really interest you, so you planned on taking your time grabbing some more to drink and scrolling through your phone for a minute.

But you almost lost your grip on the glass of water in your hands when you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist. You chuckled breathlessly and placed it onto the counter, hand over your pounding heart and a small smile tugging at your lips when Liz mumbled an apology against your cheek through a laugh.

"Are you having fun?" You asked as you craned your neck to look back at your happy girlfriend.

"I am. I love spending time with you and your friends are wonderful."

You were about to turn around and take her hand and lead her back out where the movie marathon was happening. But before you could, she buried her face in your neck and closed her eyes to breathe in the scent of your perfume.

"I've been missing you lately." She whispered. Her eyelashes fluttered and tickled your skin; almost as much as her warm breath that hit the spot behind your ear before her lips touched it. "You smell good." She complimented.

Before you could thank her, you felt her lips trail from the spot behind your ear and to your jawline. Your breath hitched and your eyes closed as her lips brushed against your skin ever so softly.

It was all fine and dandy till her fingers slid beneath your shirt and you jumped in her arms. Quickly turning around to face her, you saw the hint of worry in her eyes. You took her face gently in your hands and caressed her cheeks.

"Your fingers are a little cold."

"Sorry," she chuckled before leaning in to give you a kiss on your lips.

She hummed against your lips and trailed her fingers to your hips. She gave them a little squeeze before moving them to brush along your spine. You jumped again but you didn't pull away. You were too enthralled in her kisses and the taste of her lips.

She bit your lip and smirked when you a soft sigh escaped your lips and fell against her own. Your back was against the counter and your arms were around her neck. Her kisses were lascivious and her touch prurient. Her fingertips continued to brush along your spine and your skin was tingling with every soft brush.

She lifted you onto the countertop and you smiled against her lips as you put your legs around her waist. She held you close to her as she relished in each and every kiss you were sharing.

You haven't had a ton of time together lately so it's only making you crave her kisses and touch more.

You were completely mesmerized by her. From her fingers dancing along your skin, the taste of mint on her lips, and the fire rushing through your veins.

Nothing else existed for the two of you.

You were in your own universe where it was only the two of you.

However, that wasn't really the case. The movie had finished and your friends had turned back to ask for your input on what else to watch, only to find that neither of you were there.

"I'll go find them." One of your friends said. Her footsteps trailed from the other room and into the kitchen, where her jaw hit the floor and her eyes went wide.

"Hey, lovebirds?"

You gasped and pulled away from Liz's lips. Both your heads turned to the doorway to where your friends awkwardly stood.

"Movie is over..." She mumbled. "But I see you're both busy, so we'll just turn on whatever. Take your time." She said and neither of you missed the smirk on her face before she walked out of the room.

"So..." You trailed off and looked into Liz's eyes.

While your mind seemed to be more on your friends and the films, Liz's was still on you.

She buried her face in your neck and started to leave tiny kisses across your skin.

She was going right for your weak spot and, usually, you'd melt right into her.

But not now.

"No," you giggled and pushed at her shoulders causing her to whine and pull away. "We've got a bunch of time to spend together now that you have some time off. But tonight, we have plans with my friends."

She sighed but nodded her head in agreement, knowing that you were right.

You hopped off of the counter and gave her one more kiss. "Love you."

"Love you too, Y/N." She smiled and hugged you from behind as you made your way back to where your friends were.
