RAI'S POVWhen a year goes by and I'm able to make it to another year, I'm always grateful for I know that tomorrow is not guaranteed.
We watched as the fireworks lit up the dark sky full of stars. It was beautiful and a wholesome feeling.
It felt great that it is at this moment that the world was in harmony. Everyone went outside to watch fireworks and welcome the new year.

A FEW HOURS AGO
"I can't believe this is the last day of 2159." Lex said scrolling through her phone.
"I know, it's been a great year, I did so many amazing things." I said sipping my coffee.
"Let's play a game," Lex said looking up from her phone, her grey eyes wide like she had just come up with the best idea.
"What game?" I asked eyeing her suspiciously.
"We should speed-mention everything we have done this year." She said pulling me to the couch to sit next to her.
"Touché," I said before starting off.
"I won a tennis game."
"I won a swimming match."
"I met the royals of the world."
"I visited spain.
"We visited Egypt."
"We visited Antarctica."
"We went to Africa."
"We went to France."
"We went to space."
"I met the bestest friends in the world, if that's even a word." I said finally and we both stopped, probably because we were out of breath."Aaaw, you are going to be the best sister in law in the world." Said Lex with a genuine smile.
"You too Alexander Bloom, you are one of the sweetest souls I've ever met." I said leaning in to give her a hug.
"By the way, will you help me choose my gown for the ball since you are the supermodel here." Lex asked as she pulled out her phone.
I saw a few options which were all really beautiful but finally I chose the best one for her.
After lunch our designers arrived to help us get ready for the new year's ball.
I loved what they did to my hair, curled it and put it in a half up half down style with real diamonds embedded in some of the braids.
I got into the most beautiful ball gown. It was a huge red off shoulder gown with tiny diamonds, pearls and sparkles in a beautiful pattern.
I felt like a princess, but then I realized that I was a princess.
I looked over at Lex and she looked gorgeous in the gown I had picked for her.
We got to the lobby and got into the limo that was waiting for us.
Everyone was already there and they were just waiting for Lex and I.
"You guys are always late," Tinku complained. "But you look breathtaking nonetheless." "Princess Sasha added with a smile."
Everyone looked gorgeous, the princes in their expensive tuxes and crowns and the princesses in magnificent huge ball gowns and tiaras.
The ball was being held at the States castle and all the royals from around the world had been invited, including the kings and queens.
"Yap, I'm definitely ready for the paparazzi." I said with a sigh imagining the chaos that was going on at the entrance of the castle.
We talked during the short ride and finally got to the palace. Just as I had suspected, there was a whole ocean of paparazzi. We were to walk the green carpet in honor of the Christmas theme.
Others got out until it was just me and Liam.
"I have a surprise for you." He said and I realized one of his hands was behind his back.
He pulled out the prettiest tiara made of rubies and diamonds.
"And just where do you keep pulling these magnificent tiaras from?" I inquired feeling the tiara.
"Doesn't this feel like deja vu?" He asked with a smile placing the tiara on my head.
"Muchas gracias," I said with a smile tilting the crown on his head.
"Much better," I said as we locked our arms getting outside the Limo.
Flashes were everywhere, questions were everywhere and this time we decided to answer some of them.
After doing a few poses we got inside the castle.
The decorations were Christmas themed and I was awed at how many kings and queens there were. It felt like a sin to even be in the same room as them.
We ate and had a drink before the dance began.
The instrumental music was playing as the king and queen of the States started off the dance.
They were followed by the twins' sister then Lex and Siin then Liam and I and finally everyone joined.
"I didn't know you could dance," Liam said amazed.
"Well, there are many things you don't know about me." I replied cheekily as we continued swaying to the music which had hit the climax.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°*°°°°°°°°°°°°
After dancing the night away I went to the balcony for fresh air.
"Hello stargazer, wanna go watch the stars?" Liam asked holding my hand.
"Is that even a question!" I said holding my gown as we made our way up the glass staircase.
We went until we reached the roof top where the stars were clearly visible as they danced in the midnight sky.
It was only a minute to the new year and we kissed under the beautiful sky.
"Oh there you stargazers are!" Lex said as her and our friends made their way towards us.
"We wanted to welcome the new year together," Princess Sasha said as we all hugged.
"You guys are one of the best people I have ever met." I said and I felt my heart leap at the smile on all their faces.
"Hey Csan, did you finally get the group chat?" Kyle asked with a light chuckle.
"Yes, I am elated to say that I finally found the group chat and I will definitely be more active." He said joining us in the laughter.
"Ok guys let's join the countdown!" Tinku shouted as we all cheered and started counting.
...We watched as the fireworks lit up the dark sky full of stars. It was beautiful and I was engulfed by a wholesome feeling.
