"Why did Zephyr not want us to come to Volterra?" Amber asks as we are at the town square during the St. Marcus Day festival. We're wearing red cloaks over our clothes. "Who knows?" I shrug my shoulders, though I'm getting this feeling. Looking up at the clock tower, I see two figures up there in black. One taller than the other, but my gaze goes to the shorter of the two.
"What are you looking at?" Amber asks
Snapping out of it "I don't know" looking down, I lift the camera "picture?"
"Let me fix myself up first" she fixed her hair before I take some pictures of us. Amber takes a few pictures of us, then I take a few of her. A nice local volunteered to take some photos of us and it's almost noon.
"So" Amber asks "what is the St. Marcus Day festival?"
"Expulsion of vampires from the city" I tell her "apparently some human killed the vampires that were here"
She snorts "He must have been an Osirian or something"
Shrugging my shoulders "Ooh! Vendor! Let's get some chocolates"
She jumps up and down clapping her hands "Yes! I heard Volterra is famous for its chocolates" we go over to the vendor.
Looking through the options, we buy some of the caramels, the fudge, the assortment of choices and I get the fruity ones. We even buy some wine. "Before leaving" Amber moans "we need to buy some more chocolate for the road"
"Agreed" nodding my head, we hear screaming and look over "you've got to be kidding me"
"Is that Bitchella?" Amber asks as we watch Bella stop at the fountain looking over horrified. We look over seeing the clock doors open and out comes Edward who has his eyes closed "is that Edweirdo?"
