Forty One

"Ooh" I breathe out trying to remain calm and relaxed, sweat covers my entire body. I'm on my knees with one hand on my belly, Demetri is behind me rubbing my lower back "Fuck! Ah!" Grabbing Demetri's hand as I squeeze it, I'm in the hospital in St. Ambrose in California. We needed to stop since I went into labor during our layover in LA, I've been in labor for about five hours now.

The doctor Addison Montgomery—cousin through mom's husband Phil—comes in looking at me "Please tell me I can have pain killers" I beg

"I'm afraid not Lera" she says "your white count is too low and if I gave you an epidural you'll most likely die"

"Any wiggle room?" I ask

"I'm not losing you" Demetri has me look at him "I just got you, I'm not losing you"

Nodding my head as I groan "Oh god"

"Let's see" Addison checks my cervix "your ready to give birth" Demetri helps me to the bed as my legs are put onto the leg rests "on the next contraction, push"

Nodding my head, I feel pain so I scream pushing. The plants in the room grow out as I push. After three more pushes and me squeezing Demetri's hand so badly, I give birth "A girl" Addison tells me "a healthy baby girl"

When I am in pain again, I push again. Oh god this is hard "You need to push again" Addison orders me, I push and push until I don't hear anything "another girl, she's alive just quiet"

"My babies" holding my arms out, Addison and Demetri placed them on my chest where they fall asleep. Looking at them I smile softly "Cleo and Phoebe" Demetri chose the names and I love them.

~Time Skip~

Demetri opens the door as we I walk into our home to see a 'Welcome Home' banner. Amber and Felix picked up the kids when I went into labor, I see all my friends here and my parents. I also unfortunately see Bella here with Edward, Alice, Carlisle, Esme and also the wolf elders Billy and Jacob. Why are they here?

"Where are my granddaughters?" Mom comes over seeing the girls in mine and Demetri's arms "their beautiful, May I?" Nodding our heads, she takes Cleo into her arms.

"Why are the Cullens here?" I ask Amber when she comes over.

"Charlie brought Bella" Amber tells me taking Phoebe into her arms "who brought the Cullens, Charlie also said it was okay for Billy as the wolves to come"

"You just said wolves" Demetri says, I groan seeing Sam and Paul here.

"Ahem!" People look my way as Patricia is holding Cleo "I want to make this very clear. Cullens and those from La Push leave along with Bella"

"Bella's your sister" Charlie comes over "she should be here to meet your daughters, her nieces"

"No" shaking my head "also I don't like the current people here from La Push, so I'm going to kindly ask right now for you to leave"

"The babies" Bella looks at me "are the Cullens distant cousin"

"No" shaking my head "leave now"

"You heard her" Amber moves to the door "out you go"

"Bella stays" Charlie encourages "she's your sister and"

"Charlie" Mom shakes her head "if Lera doesn't want Bella here"

When the girls begin got cry, they are hungry. Going to get my girls, I bring them into the nursery to feed them. "They wanted to experiment on the babies" I complain to Demetri.

"I know" Demetri nods his head "I know you won't want to hear this right now but I'm picturing you pregnant again" I give Demetri a blank look, just gave birth a week ago and he wants more babies? He's lucky I love him so much.
