A mysterious book!

They finally finished unpacking everything.They were very happy to finally decorate their new home.It's been two long days but,they finally finished up

Amber's P.O.V

"There, finally finished with everything." I say while putting all of my books on my bookshelf. I sighed and sat on my bed, I felt so tired. I put on my headphones and relaxed."Amber honey, can you come down for a moment?" asked mom.

"sure thing." I put my headphones in my pockets while walking down stairs.

"Finished with your room?" said mom. "Yeah, I'm done." "Good I made breakfast, and by the way I have to tell you something." "oh uh...okay." My mom and I walked into to the kitchen to have breakfast."We've been thinking of taking you back to school, and found this place called Allicen High School."After she told me the big news I stood there thinking why, I mean we moved here only two days ago and they already find me a school to go to? "Um mom...how did you find me a school already?" I asked very curiously "look, if you don't feel comfortable with it just yet that's okay." While we stood there with a few seconds of silence, I told her "Mom, it's okay I just haven't finished studying is all." I said while taking a sip of tea. I looked up and saw my mom in confusion." What, is there something wrong?" "I must know what else that needs to be studied." she asked curiously. "Oh no, I only have three chapters left in algebra, and why is that so surprising?" She looked at me like I haven't noticed anything."Have you noticed you've been studying all summer long?" she asked.

 Yes I've noticed, but you can never be too prepared." I told her. School starts in three weeks. I wanted to get as much studying done before school reopened. "Say I have to ask, where's dad and Jaguar?" "Oh they went to the hardware store downtown to get a nail gun." "Oh, okay then." We ate our breakfast and drunk our tea. I set the plates and cups in the sink and washed them." Hey mom, mind if I go outside for a bit?" "No you can go ahead." I put on my boots and walked out the door, while my mom sat on the couch reading her Sherlock Holmes collection.

Narrator's P.O.V

After Amber's discussion, she felt the needs to go outside. It was a very nice day out today. She thought it was the perfect time to start gardening. She went to get the hoe and the shovel to pick part of the ground for her seeds. While Amber was picking at the ground, she saw the kids playing with a butterfly kite. It was a pretty kite, it was light blue with golden rings, and a shaded color of pink on the edges of the wings. Although Amber enjoyed seeing people having fun, she decided to start back gardening until she thought about something strange."Why on earth do they need a nail gun?!" She thought in a surprised tone. She is a bit upset to realize this now and thought about asking Claire about it. After she took a few steps to walk inside, she started to feel the wind hit her strongly.

   The wind kept getting stronger and stronger and soon started to gush. She heard the children screaming. Amber felt something bad happened so she glared behind her. She saw the kite being blown away. The children wanted to get their kite back, but it was a bit dangerous for them. Amber decided to help them so she went to catch the kite. She ran and she ran, until she was finally able to see where the kite was flying. It floated in an abandoned greenhouse.

Amber's P.O.V

   "Where on earth did that kite go?" I searched everywhere top to bottom until I finally saw it. Why it landed near an abandoned greenhouse I would love to know. It seems to be caught on a nail in the rusty ledge. I took the kite of the ledge and wrapped the string. Once I turned, I stepped on slippery concrete and fell backwards. (Why do I always slip or fall on things?! ) I hit my arm on a rusty lever under a wooden table. It was pushed downward and it made a strange noise. I stood up to look for anything strange and saw a weird round silver panel on the ground. "Huh what's this?" I opened it and found a weird book. I took it out and read the title."The Legend of The Four Swords?" 

   It looked as if it was ancient. It had a weird symbol on it too. The symbol seems as if it was a body of a bird with a triangular shape crest as the head. I opened it to see inside to read the following words "Thou who finds thy book shalt not show." It must be very secret. I ran back where the kids were so I can give them their kite back. "Here you go guys." I told them. They were very happy to get it back. I looked at my house and saw my dad's car.

   I ran inside to hide the book. Before I ran upstairs, I asked my dad about the nail gun." Dad, why do we need the nail gun?" "We need a nail gun for the paintings we bought, and we need it to fix the wall in the hall closet." "What happened to the wall in the closet?" I asked curiously."We tried to build a second shelf for more items and the wall was a bit fragile..." "Wouldn't you need dry-wall for that?" Then came Jaguar with a bag of dry-wall in his arms."Very well then."

   I tried to run upstairs until mom asked me "what's that in your hands, a book?" I turned and told them a friend had given it to me." Oh, you mean that boy you met two days ago?" Claire asked. Dad and Jaguar stared at me angrily." What boy is she talking about?..." asked Jaguar. I told them everything that happened that day. "We'll talk about this later..." Kingston said. I ran into my room with the book and placed it safely inside a shoe box.
