The Lanayru Temple part 2

Narrator's P.O.V

Everyone ventures into the ferocious temple in the deadliest part of the desert. The elder says the legend of this temple says that whoever enters this temple never comes out alive. They are either found ashes or even devoured by a man-eating beast. No one knows for sure, but it is a high possibility... I just hope that these guys will find their way to the swords in time to save their parents. You may never know, one could get eaten in this very chapter MWAHAHAHA!!...hehe... ugh... why did I apply for this job...

Zelda's P.O.V

Good grief, you can't really see anything in here! How are we supposed to get out of here if there isn't any light. Oh wait, maybe I can ask Amber if she can create some light! I slowly walk over to Amber. "Hey Amber, could you make some lights for us to see?" Once I asked her she didn't say anything for a moment. "Uh Amber, why aren't you saying anything?" Leo asked her.

I tried asking her again, but once I tried to say something, her eyes were glowing a dark shade of crimson. I stepped back feeling a little nervous from the sight. "Something is here lurking for us, and it is not going to be pretty either..." She said with a serious tone. Right after she revealed what she noticed the ground starts to shake, almost as if an earthquake were happening. "Whoa! What in the world is going on!" Yelled Mariah. We all grabbed to something and held on tightly. The ground starts to shake more violently and the sound of mechanisms and snarling appears.

"Oh man, oh man oh man this is bad, REALLY bad!" Dante says in a troubled tone. The ground shakes harder every second with it breaking below us. Over by some rocks we see some rocky metal scales of a beast that appeared 75 feet in length, and 20 feet in width. "The ground won't stop shaking will it!" Cassandra yelled. I don't know what to do in this situation, nor does anyone else. We're standing here while the beast is circling around us making the ground shake so roughly. "Wait a second, Link and Zelda, there's a red spot I can see on the beast. Try shooting it with an arrow!" Lexi explained to them.

I tried looking around for the red spot on the beast and she was right. There was a huge red spot on the side of him. Link and I pushed our backs to the rocks and tried aiming at it. We're holding it very still and we release once the opening was perfect. Both of our arrows land inside the spot and the beast cries out with an incredibly loud groan. And the best part the ground finally stops with all the crazy shaking!

Amber's P.O.V

Oh finally, know we can get back on track! Everyone seems to be back onto their feet, so we need to keep moving. But even so where on earth did that thing come from? Why is it that every single time we wonder into something , a beast comes out of nowhere and tries to attack us! We're just trying to find our parents...ugh, where did she take them to...we really need to find them soon... Let's just keep moving. "Is everyone alright?" I ask them. Everyone nodded their heads and we began walking towards a cave filled quick sand and stone formed in the middle of the room. "I'm just going to go on a limb and say we can't really step in the sand can we." Pipit explained. "No because that sign over there says "DANGER QUICK SAND" Dylan says pointing at a sign sinking into the sand. Okay so we can't walk in the sand and these weird stones are flat at the top. "Hey hold on a second, Leo didn't you use the orb on the sand outside." Mariah asked him. "Yes, I did why?" "Wasn't it quick sand that was turned into grass?" You're right! We could use the orb to get across! Leo takes the orb from his sack and tries to walk over to the quick sand.

He activates the orb and creates a wide range of grass for us to walk on. "Okay everyone, let's see if we can all fit into the hologram." Leo says. Well, at least it's not too cramped. We are walking across the way to the gate, and the ground starts to rumble like before. "Oh come on! What now!" Dante yells. The grass below us is cracking open and falling in. We dash towards the gate to the next room, and the monster we saw earlier growled at us.

Once we ran inside the room, Link pulls the lever and closes the gate shut. The beast is rushing into the gate trying to knock it down. It's a very hideous centipede, and it's antennas are wiggling uncontrollably, and I think I'm going to be sick... "Good heavens above! That's a big bug! Pipit cried out. Cassandra and Maria standing with the look of despair steps back to the wall. "What's wrong you two?" I ask them both. What they were looking at was terrible. I couldn't believe it not even for a moment... The gate we came in lead us into the exact same room we ran from! AND the monster is on the other side as well!

"You've got to be kidding me..." Lexi says clutching her fists together. "So we're basically going to have to defeat this thing aren't we?" Dylan says sarcastically. "Well, I wouldn't be after you if you weren't trespassing!" a deep voice said. "Um... did someone say something just now?" Leo asked. The centipede stands to his extent and clears his throat. "Aren't you here to take my treasure?" "Oh no, we're here to find swords." I tell the monster. "I most certainly hope you don't mean swords with power of the gods." I give the beast a surprised, yet curious look. Does he know where they are?  "What do you mean swords with powers?"

 "There are swords here that have mysterious powers. Earth and wind, Fire and flames, Ice and crystals, and Lightning and storms. All of them can only be pulled from the stone by the chosen ones." This is it! We did it, we finally found them! "Sir, you don't understand! We have to get those swords! The widow has kidnapped our parents!" Cassandra says pleading on her. I can hardly tell the expressing on his face, but way he is limping I think he feels sorry for us.

    "I-I see, you know what... I'll help you find the swords! But just know this... the way through this temple is going to be worse than this, so be prepared okay?" "Yes sir!" Great! Not only are we close to the swords, we have a new member that's fast, gigantic, and knows where the swords are!
