Narrator's P.O.V

Mayor Donny and his guest have arrived at their destination. The ancient structure towering over them is covered with moss and vines. Different areas of the walls caved in from above and down below. As they ready themselves to venture off inside the Deity's Egress, Donny gives them information of the island they're visiting.

"Before you go through, I shall tell you something of the island that you'll be sent to." he informs handing them a wrapped scroll. "Remember, the island you will be travelling to is named Arkary. There shall be an elderly shaman visiting there, and she should be able to help find your children.

Donny opens the rusted iron doors and makes pursuit to the portal. At last the Deity's Egress coruscates in their sight. The lime green rays give such a welcoming sensation, as if it tells you are welcomed with embrace. Standing near the rim, the void of the portal glisters brighter than before permeating the temple with joy and glory.

"Such beauty awaits new guest." Donny admires with gleaming eyes drifting away in the lights of the lime green rays. "But one last thing before you go..."

Donny displays to them an oddly designed key. It's stature matched the length of a human arm along with being twelve inches wide. Yet this particular key doesn't have a bit or curves, instead has an imperial's crown crafted to it.

"What kind of key is this?" Kingston questioned observing the fully crested crown designed on the shaft.

"This key will help you unlock an observatory the shaman should help you locate. You should hang low there for a little while."

"Thank you for your help." Claire responds with a pleasing smile.

But once their goodbyes and farewells were exchanged, they were notified of something terrible. The glorious rays so green and bright subdue, shutting itself away from access. They stand confused, eerie to what is happening, when a gigantic beast showered with gloomy mist and crimson eyes surfaces above the second floor platform.

"What is that!?" cries Vienna.

Observing the malicious hound before him, his eyes widened in terror from its vile alteration.

"Dear lord, not you again!" the mayor shouts carefully edging closer to the entrance.

Puzzled, Kingston stares at him for what he just mentioned.

"Wait, you've seem this-" He stops.

The Deity's Egress has completely shut, and sealed itself with stone. The monstrosity above lands tries to jump through the portal hoping to make it in time. In anger the mutt howls in anger, shaking the entire temple in rage. Vibrations extend throughout the ground, almost causing them to lose their balance .

This horrid contraption's structure appear to be fifteen feet in height, and twenty meters wide. Acidic liquid seeping from its mouth, and flames pouring from the gills of its neck.  Alexandria's helper gives them a devilish grin, laughing diabolically.

Everyone makes a break for the door that Donny has achieved to hold open for them. The mutt chases after them, wanting to strike whoever it got closest to. As Donny watches all who makes it out in time, he forces the door shut and backs away. The entry way cracks, almost collapsing from the impact of the creature slamming into the wall.

"Donny." Kingston says sternly. "What do you mean by not you again?"

The mayor hesitates, barely wanting to answer the question. He looks into their eyes, finding himself having no choice but to answer.

"The day Alexandria came to destroy the town, she brought that thing with her. It kept watch of us, making sure we didn't get in her way. We were forced to watch our town be ruined, while it threatened us not to move. But of course, I couldn't let this happen, so I dashed underneath the mutt and tried to make way to her. I almost had her, but that hound of hers lacerated me from behind. Its given me these as a warning before she cursed us." Donny responds turning to show the engraved slash marks on his back.

"Oh my..." Claire says placing her hands on her heart.

"We have better hope taking shelter in the emergency ward underground. But we have to go back to Lotus Valley." He announces panicking, taking deep breaths.

Horrifying growls conjure beyond the iron doors, striking the individuals with the air of expectancy.

"No, we need to get to that portal, even if it means finding a way to stop whatever that is." proclaimed Jaguar anticipated.

The others agree with him, action may be needed. But what could they do to lure their enemy away? How would they eliminate their opponent? What are its weaknesses?

Not certain on the attack plan, Kingston, Dimitry, Jaguar, and Lawrence form pairs. Dimitry and Lawrence will keep watch of the mutt, whilst Kingston and Jaguar make preparations for what they will try to accomplish. Once the plan was discussed, they share details with the rest of the crew.

"Our top priority is to discover its weaknesses, we should give it all we have to offer." Kingston insisted with vigor adjusted in tone.

The second pair watch carefully as Alexandria's creation moves to the second floor guiding itself to the caved debris leading outside.

"Guys, its almost leading itself outside!" Lawrence advised.

Its alteration resemble shadows just as its comrades would. The saliva seeping  from the mutt's mouth drips, sizzling onto the dried stone floors, watching its potential victims.

"Claire, baby, we are going to need a fire extinguisher. I will see if Jaguar can muster up some bombs, and we going to need a really big slingshot." Kingston says.

Just like her daughter, she morphs the objects to reality using her imagination. As she watches her husband assemble battle tactics, the mutt finds his way to the outside.

"Oh crap! Its here!" Dimitry announces

It inches closer steadily focusing on its prey. Carefully deciding which to choose.

"Ready Jaguar?" Kingston says taking the extinguisher from Claire.

"Yeah." Jaguar responds lighting the bomb.

The creature roars, charging in their direction. Its mouth hangs wide open, Jaguar takes the bomb and slings it down the monster's throat. It engulfs, shrieking with enormous amount of fire rushing from its gills. Kingston runs towards the sling afterwards, shooting the extinguisher into its mouth after swallowing the bomb. The mutt engulfs the second object, screeching and wavering gently. The sound of explosives manifest from the of the beast's stomach. The crimson in its eyes fade, and emptiness fill the void.

The beast tumbles to the ground and turns to mush, leaving behind a sphere like red object.

"What is this?" Vienna asked grabbing hold of the orb.

She swipes the dust from the surface of the unknown artifact, when four tiny metal rods-like tiny legs-conjure underneath. Terrified, she tosses the orb in the air, but it didn't damage when hitting the ground. Instead, it roams into their bag, closing itself inside.

"Are you okay, Vienna?" Dana asked.

"I'm okay, just little disturbed." she replied handing the bag to Lawrence.

"Can we still get to Deity's Egress?" Kingston questions Donny.

"As long as you still have the key." he responds showing him a smaller key.

Kingston removes the crowned key from the bag Lawrence is carrying. Mayor Donny gestures them to follow along, back in the interior of the tower. Donny reminds them one last time of what they may need to do. Gathering in front of the portal, they make way to Arkary Island. Where they shall find their beloved children.
