Finally, The gift of the Goddesses! pt. 1

=Narrator's P.O.V=

Amber and her friends finally made their way into the Gates Of Sorran, while on their journey to find The Four Swords. While there, the group encounter a very strange and unnerving centipede.

Hallelujah! That "thing" knows where the swords are! And they've been safe enough so I don't have to worry much. At least they know how to handle themselves well...

--Pipit's P.O.V--

This centipede better know what he is talking about! I thought, He might know the way around here; but I can't help but get a feeling that we are walking into a trap...

"We're almost there children!" The centipede plead with joy.

You know, we never even thought to ask if he has a name...

"Hey Mr. Centipede, do you have a name?" I suddenly inquired. As he begins thinking, he starts to wave his antennas in the air vigorously.

It's so disgusting I can hardly watch... I could feel myself inwardly cringe.

"You could call me Truffles or you could call me Rocky." He finally answered.

Are you serious you nasty thing! Mr. Rocky or Mr. Truffles...that's so wrong!

Leo walks with his right hand on his chin. "Meh, we should call him Mr. Rocky, he does have rock like metal scales. Better that than truffles, gross..." Leo muttered the last part. "I've been meaning to ask him about how he found the swords but I was caught off guard with that gate in front of us."

"Ah, were getting close to the swords as we speak! But there is one tinsy winsy little thing you have to do first..." The ugly thing said.

I knew it was a trap...

Mr. Rocky opened the gate that lead us to complete disaster! The room we were going in had these statues with lasers; acid spitting frogs, spiky shelled snails, and quick sand! It also looks to have all kinds of weird puzzles going on!

"You've got to be serious!" I yelled.

This thing... I hate him so much I could kill him! I'm telling you he better know or else!

"Well... What should we do about this?" Dylan says with a glare aimed towards Mr. Rocky.

"Yeah! You said it was a tinsy winsy little thing to do til we got here!" Lexi added, grabbing her daggers.

"Hey, whoa now! It is a small thing to do! All you have to do is solve the puzzle in each of the five rooms and your there. Easy AND simple!"

"WHAT!?" We all screamed in unison. Ugh! I can't believe this!

Wait a second, what if we use him as a distraction...

"Okay, you heard the man guys. Its easy and simple, what could the harm be?" I told them.

I'm hoping they're able to catch on to my plan..

"Why don't we at least give this a shot? I think we could do it! Here, let me explain..." I call them in for a huddle up to explain what needs to happen. "Leo, do you still have that orb with you?" I ask him. He takes the orb out of his adventure bag,

"You mean this thing?"

"Yes perfect! We are going to need this. Here is my plan, while we are trying to finish the puzzles we use him as a dummy for most of it..." I can tell by the look on their faces that this plan might just work.

"Okay it's settled we're in." Dante replies.

"Okay, Rocky we're in!" I tell him while signalling him closer.

"Do us a favor and show us a detour to the gate please." Dante says escorting the beast.

Walking into the room of monsterous chaos lying dead in front of us, rocky tries to give us a kind escort around the place. It seems as though we need to get through without being spotted by those statues and destroy them using bombs, looks like the the frogs might just need a boomerang to the face, and the slingshot might just do the trick for the snails.

"Okay kiddos, do you think you could do it?" Rocky asked with a worried and sorrowed voice.

"I think we can handle it." I said, very reassuring.

"Great, then you're on your own!..." He exclaimed as he disappeared into a black void along the ceiling.

"Wait what?!"

How dare he just leave! And to think my plan was going to go smoothly... Great now we're going to have to revise a plan B!

"Oh great, that didn't go as smoothly as I had imagined it to be!" I say in utter frustration.

Alright we need to make sure if bombs would be the perfect attack for the... I stop in the middle of my sentence for a piece of withered cloth fell upon my face. I take the cloth and on it reads

"Once you get through all gates, I will be waiting for you."

Why you hideous little! Ugh... forget it! As I turn to show the others what that thing had addressed to me, Cassandra walks over to me and places her hand gently onto my shoulder.

"Is everything okay Pipit?"

Being pretty sure I'm seeming to be a bit off track, I tell her that I'm okay. I need to show them this cloth, and to get going with this little operation of ours. We've gone over things one last time, and for when the discussion was over I shown the cloth with Rocky's unlikely words on them.

--Dylan's P.O.V--

So far we specified a game plan, but what for the other rooms? Wait... when Pipit asked Leo for that orb, that might just help obtain the sand. But here's another problem... it turns sand into grass, but can it change anything else and appose it to be something different? I must say, this is a matter needing to be profound.

"Okay, that orb in Leo's adventure bag can turn everything into different substances right? So why don't we try to conjure up anything else with it?" I asked in a curious manner.

I can tell Maria is seeming curious about this as well.

"Yeah! what else can it conjure up!" she says very happily.

We step inside the room and at the very start, one of those vulgar statues tried to burn us! (Oh for crying out loud...)

"Oh great! Now what do we.." Pipit closes his sentence for the moment and gazes upon a sprout that looks to grow bombs on them. He picks one up then tosses it to the statue, and at that brief second it was in pieces.

"Yes, that went exactly as we accorded it to be! What the... there's a number on this piece..." Said Lexi. She picked up the stone with a number "three" on it.

"That's a bit odd." Link says glaring along with Lexi.

"Let's see if we can find anymore pieces!" Leo said running towards the chaos deeper into the game. We'll have to find the pieces with the numbers, and take them to a stone gate on the other side from here.
