I hear knocking on the door and I get up slowly from my bed. After last night's interaction with mom and Adam, I came back and slept in my room. I look at the clock and it's 6:00 a.m.

"Young Mistress, Madam Frost and Young Master request to see you in their office." Anne says.

This early in the morning? They barely even slept last night, how did they wake up so early?

"I am coming!" I say and rush into the bathroom to fresh up.

I take a cold shower to feel awake and get rid of the sleepiness. I open the closet beside my bathroom and find all my dresses from my previous house. I wear a simple t shirt and pant and do a french ponytail. I run down to my mom's office and knock the door.

"Come in" my mom says.

"Why did you call me early in the morning?" I ask and yawn.

"Cuz there are things you should know about this place." Adam says, his face looks completely tired and sleepy.

"Scarlett, you are joining school." my mom says looking at me. She doesn't look tired or sleepy even if she barely slept last night. She must've been habituated working and having sleepless nights.

"School? Please don't tell me you bought me to an entirely new place, just to join me in a school" I say.

"Well...you can say that....that's one of the reasons you are brought here." Adam says yawning.

"Seriously? School? That's so boring" I sneer.

"You are just a teenager who is fifteen years old, what more did you expect?" Adam asks.

"Well......I expected something fun" I say.

"Fun? What do you want to do? Fly on a broomstick, cast spells using a wand and defeat some dark lord?" Adam laughs.

"That sounds better than attending a boring school" I say.

"It's not that boring, Scarlett. The school will teach you how to use magic." my mom says.

"Magic? Like for real?" I ask surprised.

"Of course you idiot. It's not a boring school that teaches you abracadabra or casting spells. It's an army school. They train you to become warriors." Adam says proudly.

"Warriors?" I ask.

"Yes, fine warriors. I've studied there and so will you." Adam says.

"Then it must be one stupid school. I mean....look at you....I don't want to turn into an idiot like you." I smirk at him.

"Watch your mouth, you good-for-nothing teenager." Adam sneers.

"Same goes for you, you poop-faced old man." I retort.

"Don't call be that" he says angrily.

"Even you don't call me names." I snap back.

"Now...enough!" my mom says seriously.

"It's been only one day since you both met and you guys are already bickering" my mom says and puts her hand one her forehead.

"She started it." Adam says.

"I didn't! He started it." I say angrily to my mom.

"Stop blaming others." Adam says.
