   - 3 Months Later-

My little girls aren't so little anymore. They are moving and trying to roll onto their tummies. They smile and laugh now too..

" Vanessa, are you ready?" I look at my mother who is standing in the bedroom door way of the girls first home.

" Yes." I pick up Courtney and my mother picks up Chloe and we carry them out to the full car. We found a three bedroom apartment, two rooms for our little family and one for our roommate Tessa. Yes, we are finally leaving the nest and it is harder than I thought it would be. We get the girls buckled into their car seats and my mother and father kiss them a farewell for now.

" I'm really going to miss you all, pumpkin. " My father hugs me and a feel a tear drop from his eye.

" I know dad. Me too, please come visit when you can. " I can feel the water works build up but I keep the flood gates closed.

" We will darling. " My parents exchange glances and that's when I feel like something is going on. " Pumpkin, we have some news. " My dad goes and stands by my mother; they look so in love, just like when I was little.

" Vanessa you're going to be a big sister." My mother and father let a small smile release from their lips. I feel surprise and shock run through my body, but also joy.

" That's so great, I wish you had gotten pregnant before I had the girls. I've always wanted a sibling." Trevor hugs my side and I smile.

" We're glad you're happy. You kids better get going you have a long drive ahead. We love you both." We exchange hugs, kisses and goodbyes. Our new place is about an hour from here, we decided it was perfect because it was close to campus for Trevor. We get in the car and begin our first real road trip. Half way to our new home we make a stop to feed ourselves and our hungry little girls.

When he doesn't speak up I do. " What's wrong, why are you so silent?"

" Nothing's wrong, I've just been thinking.." Oh dear Lord. Now would be a really bad time for him to decide that he doesn't want me or the girls.

" What have you been thinking?" I ask, slightly worried, continuing to feed my hungry baby girl.

" Well we are going to get married soon and eventually move out of the apartment, not to mention how I'll be working with my uncle once I complete these few classes here. I'll be making much more money than now and I got to thinking about having a baby of our own, kinda soon..." He just overwhelmed me with two words. Baby and soon. The girls are only three months, how could he want another one?!

" No, I am sorry, but no way am I popping out another child after having two only three months ago.  I love you, I want to wait until we are married and the girls are at least one or two. Honestly I would prefer two." He looks a little heart broken but I can tell he accepts what I say. We sit there silently for the rest of our meal and the rest of the trip. When we finally had got there we were all exhausted, but I was happy to see that Tessa had made it here before us and hoped that she had most of her boxes unpacked. Finally we got the girls inside the building and some of our stuff, we were surprised to see that Tessa actually did what I hope she would. There we a few boxes here and there but It looked like she had gotten almost all of her things unpacked and she even got some of our stuff unpacked.

" Tessa are you here? Vanessa and I are here with the girls." Trevor sets the girls down and I set our clothes down too. Not too much later I see Tessa's head pop out of a doorway. I start to walk to where she is and Trevor follows me. I look in the room and I am in shock, Tessa has decorated the room for the girls and it looks amazing.

" O- my - God , Tessa it looks amazing. How did you pay for some of this stuff?" I walk around the room and check it out, everything looks perfect.

" I used money Vanessa." I know a lot of this wasn't cheap and I am super grateful that she has done this .

" I will make sure we pay you back Tess , I promise." I said with a sincerer tone.

" Don't worry about it. I wanted to get my nieces something, it's not a big deal." She said with a smile playing on her lips. I hug her till she can't breathe, very thankful for their aunt Tess.

-^-

We have been here for about a week and every thing has been wonderful, I just wish my parents could see how well we have been doing. The girls are loving their new room and home, so are we. A few nights ago we found out that Kevin and Tessa are in a serious relationship, so we worked out a little roommate agreement saying that he could stay here often but he has to help out and that what goes on in that bedroom STAYS in that bedroom. As for me and Trevor we started planning our wedding. We set our date for June 28th, 2016.

" Vanessa are you ready for bed?" I see Trevor peeking around the corner and I smile.

" Yeah, I'll be right there." I turn the page in my journal and finish it.

And that is how my life turned out. They are my joy from pain. MY JOY BUT PAIN.
