My Joy But Pain

Chapter 8

The next morning I woke up somewhere unfamiliar.I looked next to me to see Trevor.Then I remember that I had to go to the hospital because of the pain in my stomach.I touch my stomach.Soon I will be able to know if it's a boy or a girl."Vanessa."

"Trevor."

"Vanessa what's wrong?"

"Nothing just thinking."

"About what?"

"About me and the baby."He looks a little disappointed that I wasn't thinking about him.

"I was thinking about how in a few months I will be able to find out the gender and how I will have grown."That's the only part that I don't really like about pregnancy.

"Well I think you will be beautiful either way."He really knows the right things to say at the right time.

"Mrs.Green I am here to see if you are well enough to go home."A young nurse walks in and starts to check my vitals.

"Has there been anymore pain?"

"No there hasn't."

"Ok your doctor will come in soon while I collect your paperwork.Also someone has already paid the bill."She walks out of the room and I look at Trevor.

"Ok ok my parents paid the bill.They wouldn't let your mom pay it since it happened at my house."

"Trevor it's ok but my mom can pay for that stuff, even though I should be paying for it."

"Ok.I love you."

"I love you Trevor."I kiss him on his lips.

"Mrs.Green I am here to take one last look at you."I nod my head.She does the same thing the nurse did then says goodbye and leaves.

The nurse comes back in with my paperwork.

About thirty minutes later we finish it and hand it to the nurse then leave.

"Do you want to stay at my house until your mom finds a new one?"

"Yeah I don't want to go back to that house unless it's to pack."

"I know baby, I know."When we arrive at his house he carries me inside which I allow this time.

"Are you tired?"

"Just a little."

"Then we can cuddle.C'mon lets go upstairs."

"Ok."I follow him upstairs to his room.We lie down on his bed.

"Trevor give me your hand."He gives me his hand and I place it on my belly.He looks at me.He starts to kiss me.It turns out into a makeout session.

"Vanessa I don't want to ever leave you."He goes back to kissing me.

"I don't want you to leave me either."We stop kissing.He got up and grabbed his laptop off his desk.

"What are you doing?"

"We are going to start and pick out a name for the baby."

"But..."

"No I think right now is the perfect time to do it."

"Ok."He logs into his computer and pulls up google.He searches baby names.We go down the lists.

"Hmm how about if it's a boy...Nash.If it's a girl...Chloe or Teagan."

"I like them now my turn...For a boy Cole and for a girl ...Courtney."

"I like it .. So are those the names that we will decide on when they are born."

"Yep.. We should write them down though."I nod my head.He gets up and grabs a pen and paper.He writes them down.We just cuddle for the rest of the day along with some snacking and go to bed.

I hear this annoying beeping.I wake up and realize it's my alarm, so I turn it off.

"Trevor,babe wake up." He doesn't wake up so I take a different approach.

"Trevor wake up the baby moved."

"What.. What I'm up."

"You fool the baby won't move till about four months or more."

"Not cool,not cool Vanessa."

"Then get up the first time I say too.Come on we have to get ready for school."

"Uhhh."
