My Joy But Pain

One Month Later-

I woke up and ran straight to the bathroom. For the past two weeks I'd been doing this and had no clue why.

"Honey are you alright?" My mother looks at me concerned.

"Yeah I think so.There has been a stomach flu going around school, I think that's what it is." I lie to my mother to keep her from freaking out. Ever since I've been raped she's been worried about me.

"Well I am making you a doctor's appointment.I will call in today and see how soon you can come in."

"Ok mother."I brush my teeth then take a shower.When I get out and get dressed,I hear my phone ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey Vanessa it's Trevor. I was wondering if we could hang out or something?"

"Sure you can come over here if you want I will make us some snacks."

"That sounds good I will be right over."

We say goodbye and I hang up . I walk downstairs to find my mother asleep on the couch.

"Mother,Trevor is coming by.You need to wake up."I lightly shake her and she wakes.

"Oh .... ok I called the doctor's office .You have an appointment for three -thirty." Her voice soft and slightly shaky. I can tell she is tired, she's been working a lot of shifts lately and it concerns me sometimes.

"Ok."

I walk into the kitchen and pull pizza rolls out of the freezer.I put them on a tray and set them in the oven. I go upstairs and blow dry my hair.I feel a cramp and then look on my phone calender.Yep, my gift from mother nature was soon to start.I go into my bathroom and put a on one of my thin liners.

"Vanessa, Trevor is here!"My mother says in her lovey -dovey tone. I blush as I.walk down the stairs.

"Hi Vanessa."

"Hi Trevor, you hungry?" My cheeks are still on fire as we walk towards the kitchen.

"Yeah a little."Ever since we started dating, things have been more awkward then when we were friends. Me and Trevor have know each other since preschool and have been best friends since, now that we are senior's in high school we have become even closer as friends and Bf /Gf.As I walk into the kitchen I get another pain in my stomach.Not bad though, just little pains.I grab our plates and hand him one.

"Thanks." He smiles at me.

"Your welcome." I say.

We go and sit down on the couch and put in Finding Nemo.One of my favorite Disney movies.

"Why do we always watch a movie when I come over?"He laughs a little.

"Just to waste time I guess.I have a appointment around three so you can come with or leave whatever you want.We are going to see if I have a bug or something." I take another pizza roll off our plate and keep my eyes on the screen.

"I guess I can come with as long as there are no girly things ."I laugh and we continue to watch the movie.

When the movie is over, I go upstairs and freshen up.I throw up again and brush my teeth. I have a weird feeling that I'm more than sick but I don't know what else it could be.

"Vanessa are you ok?"Trevor is leaning in the doorway with a concerned look.

"Yeah I'm fine,it might just be the stomach flu like I said." I try convincing him but I'm not even sure myself.
