The soldiers remaining in the scrapyard prepare to fire as the uncontrollable Cyberman begins to make it's way up to the surface.

Soldier 1:

Hold it, lads. It will be here any moment.

The soldiers around the perimeter also prepare to fire. As the men wait tensely, we then hear the Cyberman stomp up onto the surface, revealing itself. It's hands on it's head suggest the Cyberman still suffers pain and confusion – the conversion of Dale into a Cyberman was not complete.

FIRE!

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! The soldiers continue to fire at the Cyberman, stomping through into the soldiers.

Fall back! Fall back!

The troops allow the Cyberman to exit the scrapyard, and roam the streets. The Major General, his other fellow superiors, and the Doctor arrive back onto the surface.

Major General Harrow:

We can't let that thing roam the streets of London.

Colonel Fielder:

Gold platted bullets have no effect on it now.

Major General Harrow:

Captain Herring, follow it's position. Keep it under supervision, but do not allow it to endanger any civilian person.

Captain Herring:

Yes sir. Right, come along men! Move! Move!

Captain Herring takes his men and runs after it.

Major General Harrow:

Well, what now Doctor? Gold bullets are no use against that thing now. And using high explosives in an enclosed space on the Cyberman will be lethal.

Doctor:

It is no Cyberman, General. The victim has been converted, but not completely.

Major General Harrow:

Completely? What do you mean?

Doctor:

Look at the way it moves. How it screams and has it's hands on it's head in confusion. Hardly a Cyberman if it still feels emotion and pain.

Colonel Fielder:

Does that give us a chance to reason with it?

Doctor:

Yes. I would be prepared to do that.

Major General Harrow:

If we can get it under control.

Doctor:

The person who was once the Cyberman will still possess creative and rational thinking skills. At the moment, he won't understand what is happening to him. Once we let him get what's going on, he will feel more willing to cooperate.

Major General Harrow:

Then what other deterrent can we use in case it becomes hostile?

Doctor:

A Cyberman completely converted, but without the removal of emotions and creativity. Its brain is still intact. Neuron pathways and collective memories as they were. You'd think the Cybermen would remove all emotions and imagination from the brain first. But something has gone wrong. He would be horrified to see what he has become.

We see the Cyberman continuing to storm through the streets in agony. The army continue to watch over. They have troops around the street he stomps through, armed and ready to attack from front and behind the Cyberman. It bursts through walls, crashing monuments and gates, and smashing up cars uncontrollably. Captain Herring takes his radio as he watches the Cyberman. We hear the Major General's voice on the radio.

Captain Herring:

Captain Herring to Major General Harrow. The Cyberman has gone on a rampage. The streets are cleared. Our men are maintaining close surveillance on ground level.

Major General Harrow:

Allow it to take its course where it wants. The immediate area has been evacuated of civilians. Where is it now?

Captain Herring:

It is heading towards the subway. The dead end, sir.

We then cut back to the Major General talking on his radio.

Major General Harrow:

Right. Follow it's position. We will be rendezvousing with you shortly. Out.

Doctor:

If the conversion was not fully complete, the chest unit may have been faulty when it broke out from the chamber.

Colonel Fielder:

Is that way our bullets don't have an effect on it?

Doctor:

Yeah.

We continue to see the Cyberman continuing to burst through gates and damage cars as it leads into the dead end. The army soldiers watch it go in...
