CHAPTER XX - THOUGHTS, FEELINGS AND GOODBYES
"I don't know but I'll find out," I said and Wonyoung nodded and reached out to play with the rings on my finger but I quickly pulled away. "Our deal has to end now. As you can see I now have a girlfriend so if I act lovey-dovey with you it will ruin my reputation." She groaned and threw a pillow across the room. "Sunghoon all I want is for you to like me. Why can't that happen, why can't you like me? I've tried everything, please just one date."
I shook my head and stood up, "I'm sorry but I don't like you and I never will. I'm quite busy tomorrow and I'm sure you can escort yourself out." I headed back to my room leaving Wonyoung alone. "Fuck you, Park. You'll realise what you missed one day." She shouted and a few minutes after I saw her car drive out back into the streets.
"Sunghoon, you should avoid her she's not good for you." Halmeoni said and fixed my hair. "You're a handsome young man and there is a woman that you should be fighting for." I looked at her confused but she just ushered me to my room. "Get some rest, you have school tomorrow."

I was putting on my uniform while leaving the news to run in the background until I heard the newscaster say the name, 'Ava'. I quickly turned to face the TV, "Breaking news, Jeon Ava the new girlfriend of famous model Park Sunghoon has been reported as missing. It is reported that she was last seen on a boat with another woman at midnight yesterday. An investigation is currently being done to figure out her whereabouts and why she has left. We have a reporter at the area where she was last scene.."
I heard a noise at my door and opened it to see an envelope lying on the floor. It had nothing written on it besides my name. I picked up the envelope and quickly headed back inside. I put the envelope into my bag and finished getting ready before walking out the door with Malteaser. While walking to Jungwon's cafe I couldn't stop thinking about the envelope and when I got to school, I ran to the rooftop and opened the envelope.

Dear Miyeon,
You're probably really confused about who sent this letter and why, well it's me, Jeon Ava. By the time you get this letter, it's probably been reported on the news that I have gone missing but just like I told you the other day, I've run away with my girlfriend to a safe place where I will never be found.
I've always hated being rich and I've always hated my corrupt parents but I wasn't able to escape them until now and I feel so free. Thank you for being such a great friend the few days that I've known you. You kept my secret and I respect you so much for that. The reason I ran away earlier than expected was because my parents were about to announce my marriage with Sunghoon and I promised him that I wouldn't let that happen. I'm sorry for leaving on such short notice and sadly this will be the last time you ever hear from me, so thank you.
