CHAPTER XVII - HUMILIATION
"One second." Sunghoon got up and quickly ran out of the apartment. I sat there confused and when he came back he was carrying a big white bag. "For you." I pulled out the contents of the bag which revealed the same black dress he had just described paired with some simple silver jewellery, a handbag and black heels.
"Sunghoon, you really didn't have to." He grinned seeing my reaction and shrugged, "I just thought that you might like it." Just as I was about to say something his phone started ringing. "You can take that," I told him and he nodded before heading to the kitchen and answering the call while I played with Malteaser.
𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑲 𝑺𝑼𝑵𝑮𝑯𝑶𝑶𝑵 -
I picked up my phone to hear my father shower me with praise. "Sunghoon, I didn't know you and Ava were dating. I'm glad that you did this, you are really helping the company." I scoffed, "I'm not marrying her yet, when we talked about it she agreed that we need a few months before we get to that decision."
My father agreed and told me to spend more time with her in public to help the family image. "Anyways moving on from the great news, are you at home? I heard that you left Milan in a rush, was it for Ava?" I scoffed, "My life doesn't revolve around her. I came home because I had some things I needed to take care of."
"You're a fucking brat you know that. Right now your life should revolve around that girl because fame and money don't come for free. Ms Hong will be coming to your house today to clean up and cook. Make sure you are there." I ended the phone and went back to the living room to tell her that I had to leave.
"I'll see you tomorrow okay?" I ruffled Miyeon's hair and gave Malteaser a kiss before leaving. "Since when were you and Malteaser close?" I chuckled, "Since forever, idiot." I closed the door behind me and got into my car driving back home.

I heard a knock on the door and opened it to reveal a beautiful girl. She had long, dark brown hair that paired with her brown eyes and rose-coloured lips. "Hello, you must be Lee Miyeon." I closed the door in the girls face and shouted from the otherside. "Who are you?" I heard the girl chuckle, "I'm Jeon Ava."
I opened the door and analysed the girl's face, "Oh I know who you are. You are Sunghoon's girlfriend. What are you doing here?" I moved out of the way to let her come in and she told her security guards to wait outside. We sat in the living area and I got her some water.
