CHAPTER V - ALL I NEEDED
As soon as I stepped into his house my jaw dropped. He wasn't rich he was wealthy. He had dark black walls, a fountain on either side of his tv, a glass staircase, a little garden area inside and lots more. "Do you like it?" He asked setting his key down on the kitchen island.
"Sunghoon this is amazing, it feels really wrong for someone like me to be standing here." I stood awkwardly, my eyes darting to everything in house. "What do you mean, it's just a house?"
I just shook my head not bothered to explain his own wealth to him. "Well what do you want do first?" He asked, "I don't know, what can we do?" I shrugged not knowing where to start.
"Well why don't you get changed first and then we can decide later." He told me to go upstairs and use any of the bedrooms to get dressed. I opened a large door at the end of the long corridor and inside was a very big bedroom.
I got dressed and left my bag on a chair in the corner of the room, as I closed the door and turned to head downstairs I saw Sunghoon walking towards the room I was just in. "Oh, I guess you found my bedroom then."
My eyes widened, I looked at the closed door and looked back at Sunghoon. "That was your room?" I felt my face flood red. I just went into a boys bedroom. Not just any boy, Sunghoon.
"Yeah it is. Anyways if you're ready head into the kitchen and just wait for me." He pushed past me and went into his bedroom. I walked back down the stairs and into his kitchen. There was a bunch of random ingredients laying on the counter.
I walked around the kitchen and outside to see a large yard. There was a pool and what I think was a basketball court. How does someone even become rich enough to have that? I saw Sunghoon coming down the stairs and asked, "What are we doing?"
"Baking. I read that you really enjoyed baking, I also don't know how to bake and I think it would be good for me to learn." I nodded and we washed our hands, got our aprons on and started baking.
We agreed on baking cookies. There was lots of laughter and smiles and for a minute I felt like I had made my first friend, but who would want to be friends with someone who can't even breathe properly?
We also made some dinner for ourselves which was some simple pasta. We ate and put our dishes away. I was going to clean the dishes but Sunghoon beat me to it, so I put the cookies in the oven instead.
"What do we do now?" I had just put the cookies in the oven and was washing my hands, Sunghoon picked up a remote and turned on the TV. "Do you wanna watch a movie?"
