What is magic?
Is it a trick?
Slight of hand used to delight a child?
No, but yes
There is something magical there
A child who watches
As something impossible
Is rendered real
The same trick
Performed before the jaded adult
Is no more magical than a magnet
No more magical than a light
But why?
Because they know
They know it is a trick
Magic is found somewhere else
It is found in the performance
Of acts deemed impossible
Through means unexplainable
When impossibility meets reality
That is where magic is found
