After Arthur had made her wear one of his hoodies, she finally left the house, telling him it's gonna be his fault if she gets a heatstroke. Though, once she was far away from her house, she took off the hoodie, wrapping it around her waist. She was excited to meet up with Noel, no matter what Arthur or Charles might say about it.

"I'm in the bus, be there in 10" She texted Noel, who quickly replied with a "see you there".

Adeline came back home at about 19:45. The day with Noel was so fun, they didn't even look at the time. Though, as she saw how late it already was, she had to excuse herself. Noel understood, giving her a hug before she had to enter the bus. The boy sadly needed to take a different bus, as they went in different directions.

Once Adeline was through the door, she took off her shoes, as well as the hoodie she had put on as the evening turned cooler. The hoodie was big on her, as Arthur and Charles were both a head taller, her being 25 centimeters shorter than her two brothers.

When she opened the brown wooden door to her room, she saw her youngest brother of the three laying on her bed, facing away from her while he kicked his feet to whatever he was doing on his phone. If you asked Adeline, he looked like a high school girl in love.

"Uh..?" She made herself known, to which Arthur quickly looked behind him, his feet dropping to the bed. "Finally." He groaned, turning so he was laying on his bed. "What took you so long? I was about to go and look for you."

The thirteen year old knew the older was just joking with his last sentence and she couldn't help but grin. "I told you, i'm out with friends." Arthur gave her a look before humming. "Alright then."

He stood up from her bed, walking over to her still standing at the door. "Goodnight, ma chou." (Sweetheart) "If you have a nightmare again, feel free to come to my room, okay?" Adeline just nodded, feeling him giving her a small kiss on the top of her head before leaving to his own room.

With a sigh leaving her lips, she closed the wooden door quietly behind her. Tiredly she made her way over to the bed, dropping down on the soft mattress with a grunt. Adeline was tired, and she definitely didn't look forward for tomorrow knowing that Noel wasn't gonna be there. She might as well just go and skip school instead, what was the point in going after all? She just had two more days of school.

The next day came sooner than the girl had thought. Unmotivated, she stood up and got ready for school. She took some grey sweatpants out of her closet, as well as a white shirt. Once Adi was changed, she took her charging phone and unplugged it before putting it in her pocket.

The girl took the plate of breakfast Pascale always makes her and placed it on the table before sitting down. The brown haired thirteen year old ate the bread with jam on top in silence, until she received a notification.

Adeline couldn't help but smile at the notification. He was so sweet, she thought to herself before texting him back.

Once she was finished, she quickly rinsed the plate off with just water, placing it in the sink. She then made her way to the door, putting on her shoes and making sure everything is in her bag before waling out of the house, locking it. Arthur was already gone, just like Pascale, and they still might not be back when she got home.

The girl walked the bus stop calmly, seeing she had enough time. During her small walk she put on her headphones, connecting it with her phone before putting on her playlist.

Skyfall - Adele

She saw on her screen. The brown haired girl put the phone back into her pocket as she continued walking.

The wait for the bus took about 5 minutes. When she entered the bus, there were no more free seats left. She let out a small sigh, standing near a window with a few other people. God how she hated this bus ride already.

Where you go, I go
what you see, I see
I know I'd never be me
Without the security
Of your loving arms
Keeping me from harm
Put your hand in my hand
And we'll stand

Let the sky fall

A sigh escaped her as she thought about her father, Charles and Arthur. Unfortunately, there was no seat left for her until she had to get off the bus. Impatiently, she went straight out and started walking towards her school. She hated how crowded the bus always was. Noel would calm her by his presence, but he was in some different country for holiday.

Adeline was glad that she was in a less crowded space now and calmly walked on the pave-way to her in direction of her school.

The school day was pretty boring for the first 3 lessons, which cut it down to another 3 for the day. Right now was a break, until they had history next. Usually, she liked history, but her teacher sadly got pregnant and had to leave. Which means she will have a different teacher today. She hoped it wasn't a new teacher, as she was bad with new people. Well, maybe not bad, but she didn't like them.

The day without Noel was so boring too. She had no one to talk and gossip with. Obviously, she would when she got home tell all the tea to Pascale, Arthur or Charles, but that still took way too long for her liking. I mean come on, what was she supposed to do for the next two and a half hours? Listen to the teacher? No thanks.

As she drew on her note book, the bell rang, which meant the new lesson would start. She got up to get her history books and stuff before sitting down again, waiting for the teacher patiently.
