Adeline rolled her eyes at Arthur.

"What do you mean it doesn't look like it to you?" She asked, a mix of annoyance and confusion in her tone. "I'm just saying," the older boy shrugged. "you two look pretty close for friends."

"How long do you know each other? How did you meet? How did-" Before he could start interrogating her, she stopped him. "Relax. He's a classmate" Adeline groaned. Arthur raised an eyebrow, not believing her. "Just a classmate?"

"You two had matching halloween costumes, I don't think he-" "Well, then use your brain more" She huffed and crossed her arms. Arthur took the lollipop stick in his hand and took it out of his mouth to speak again.

"Jeez, why are you so defensive" He laughed. "Why are you so annoying? He's just a friend." "Are you sure?" He continued to push it, "He looks like he has a crush on you." "What?" She couldn't contain a laugh, that was absolutely ridiculous.

"He doesn't have a crush on me" she assured and turned back to the pile of candies. "Do you have one on him?" Asked her brother. "What? No." She shook her head and took one of the sweets, opening the wrapping and throwing it at Arthur. "Hey!"

The Monegasque threw the paper back as she ate the candy. "Just be honest, you two have someth-" "We don't. Why are you so intrigued in this?" There was a small silence as Arthur just looked at her.

"Well," he started. "He's a boy. And you're a girl so..." "That doesn't have to mean anything" Adeline protested. "We're just good friends, okay?" "Alright"

There was silence again as they both just ate their candies in peace, Arthur biting down on the lollipop.

"Do you like someone else then?" He suddenly asked and Adeline groaned. "I am not telling you about things like that" The brunette haired boy couldn't help but chuckle.

"Come on.... tell me, i'm your big brother i have to know!" He said in a lighthearted tone with a smile on his face. "Nooo" she whined and hid her face which was turning red.

"You do like someone!" Arthur said confidently. "You're so red" he pointed out without even having to see her face. "Shut up..."

When he finally decided to stop bothering her and leave the girl alone, he immediately rushed into his room and grabbed his phone.

Hectically he opened it and clicked on his contacts to call his older brother, Charles. It took only 3 rings before he picked up.

"Charles!!" Said Arthur before the older could even speak. "Adi has a crush!" "WHAT" The shocked voice of his brother came through.

"Yes, i talked with her and she kept denying that she liked that guy that was over earlier so I asked if she likes someone else" "And her answer??" "Well.... she denied it but she got so red and hid her face" He said in a almost smug tone.

"Oh god... isn't she way too young for that??" Asked Charles in an almost frantic way. "I mean... she's 13, i don't know-" "She better not have a boyfriend yet" Arthur could only laugh at his brothers stern tone.

It was finally winter break for F1. Charles was back home in Monaco and so was Arthur. But Adeline on the other hand... she was still in school, grumpily waking up in the morning and making her way to the bus annoyed.

Her two brothers were finally back at home and had a break for what, 3 to 4 months? And she still had to go to school!? Not only that, Arthur keeps making fun of her for it too. Keeps rubbing it into her face that he can stay at home the whole day if he wants to, while she had to go to school. She could've punched him right then and there.

But, at least she had her two friends to keep her company. They don't tease her endlessly either, so that's a win. Though she was sure if Arthur ever stopped then she'd probably miss it.

School was as boring as ever, and she hated the fact that the last day before her Christmas break was the 23rd of December. Why would you end school a day before Christmas?!

But there was nothing she could do for now, it's just 1 and a half weeks and then she can finally enjoy her own break. She was excited for Christmas, not only did she get presents but she also gets to see her brothers again!! Hopefully all 3 of them, that would be the best present of them all for her.

A smile spread on her face as she greeted Noel who was waiting by her locker. The boy gave an equally happy smile back and talked to her as she changed out of her jacket.

"Where's Mateo?" She asked Noel while taking out the things she needed for her first lesson of the day. The black haired boys smile faded and he internally rolled his eyes.

"He's sick today or something." He replied and Adeline nodded.

For the rest of the day, Noel was quite happy to be the one to receive Adi's full attention rather than having to share it with some weirdo Mexican dude.

All in all, it wasn't too bad of a school day for the two. It was quite fun, actually. They both returned back home with a smile rather than a grumpy morning expression.

As she entered the house, he greeted Arthur who was lazily laying on the couch before walking into the kitchen where Pascale was to do the same.

"Hello, sweetie, had a good day?" Asked her mother figure. "Yeah, it was fun" she smiled back and thanked the older as she placed a plate of food in front of her.

"Is Charles and Lorenzo gonna be home? On Christmas, i mean." She asked as she ate. The blonde woman smiled and nodded. "I believe so. Charles will definitely come over, i haven't spoken to Lorenzo yet, though."

Adeline was happy enough with that and went on with eating lunch from her mother.
