Short chapter because this is all i've wrote before just disappearing, i promise next chapter will be longer. I'm very sorry for just disappearing for like what a week or so? I will not be giving reasons as for why i've left, but i don't think it matters now that it's safe to say that i'm back and trying to post every day again!!

After Charles came to pick up Adeline, he dragged her along with him. At first, they stopped at the Ferrari garage, but once he saw that his teammate wasn't there, he continued dragging her around the paddock.

"Ah, there they are!" He told her in french, walking up to a few men who wore red, blue and orange. Adeline quickly followed Charles, not wanting to be left alone with all these random people for too long. As she walked up to them, the guy wearing red, who was probably Charles's teammate, elbowed some guy who had an orange shirt on and a neon yellow bucket hat. She was a bit confused, but decided to just not say anything.

"Lando.." Charles said in a jokingly warning tone. Lando? That's a very.. unique name. Adeline looked at Charles before speaking, in french i must add. "Lando? What kind of name is that?" "What?" Said the dude with the bucket hat, who was most likely this Lando. Charles just looked at her, trying to hide his grin. "Don't say that right in front of him." The Monegasque told her. "What are they saying?" Asked the british sounding guy, looking at the guy in red who just shrugged.

"Anyways, guys, this is my sister!" Said Charles in his heavy accent, looking back at his friends. Everyone had introduced themselves, and now she knew the men in front of her were Carlos, Charles teammate, Lando, Oscar, Max and Daniel. The five gave her an expecting, yet curious look as she still hasn't introduced herself.

"I'm Adeline.." She whispered shyly, looked at the ground to avoid their gazes. She felt her brothers hand on her shoulder blade and looked up at him, seeing a reassuring smile on his face.

Hours have passed and Adeline started to really like and get along with the drivers. If she had to choose between who she liked best, she wouldn't know. Lando and Carlos were pretty funny, but so were Max and Daniel together. And Oscar? Well... he just treated her like she was the same age as him, using words that sounded out of space, and he seemed pretty unbothered as he talked too. Though, whenever she asked or gave him confused looks, he gladly explained what he meant to her.

Maybe she prefered Oscar just a tiny little bit than the others. She was very interested in the things he said and talked about, they just got along.

Though, that didn't stop her from admiring all five, something about them just made them likable. Which was pretty good, because Charles was very busy and a little stressed as this was his home-race. While he went all over the place, taking pictures with people, signing stuff, training, all that, his teammate and the two McLaren and RedBull boys were there to keep her company.

"Hey," Started Daniel randomly, turning all the attention to him. He had a big smile on his face and gave Adeline an expecting look. "Wanna play hide and seek?"

"You seek!" She said quickly, putting her finger on her nose. Everyone else copied her quickly, but Oscar was last to do so. With a groan, he agreed on seeking, smiling a little even if he tried not to.

"Just wait for like five minutes, good?" Oscar nodded and went over to stand near the entrance of a random Motorhome, holding his hand in front of his eyes.

They all ran off in different directions, Carlos went with Adeline though, knowing she wouldn't know where to go anyway.

They played for quite some time, and the F2 race had definitely started by now. Lando was the first to be found by Oscar, as he hid in some big black trashcan.

In the end, Adeline won, Carlos being the second last to be found. Maybe Oscar let her win on purpose, maybe he just actually didn't find her.

People gave them confused looks as they watched how the 5 drivers and the "random" little girl ran around the paddock and then hiding somewhere, but they just didn't say anything about it.

After some time of playing hide and seek, they got bored of that. They didn't know how to spend their time anymore and it still took quite a while for the f2 practice to end.

The 5 went to get some drinks, of course taking the 13 year old with them and buying her something. "Thank you." She thanked Daniel as he opened the bottle for herwith the metal bottle-opener. The older Australian of the two gave her a smile in response before taking a sip of his own drink.

"You know," Max started, "I didn't know Charles had a sister. He never mentioned it." Adeline stiffened a little. "That's because i'm not his actual sister." She thought to herself.

"I guess he just wanted to keep it private." She shrugged, her french accent was definitely not as heavy as the two Monegasques. "Have you met Pierre yet? Or Esteban?" Asked Lando, curious if she met the other french people on the grid.

"No, not yet." She shook her head gently.

Adeline only saw the last bit of the second free practice on TV before they all went into their pits and got out of the car. Excited to see at least one of her brothers again, she waited patiently for him to get back to the paddock.
