Zenkoh's Adventure

Chapter 1

The ruins of an ancient castle have been discovered, and with it, rumors of a powerful weapon that lies hidden within. Various factions have sent out teams to search for the weapon, but none have returned.

Zenkoh: What did you say the client's name was again?

Maria is a 5'6" female catfolk with black fur with gray stripes wearing a white robe.

Maria: His name is Lyron.

Zenkoh: Well...we have arrived.

Zenkoh and Maria arrive at a warehouse in the settlement of Terra Novus to meet with Lyron.

Lyron is an elf with white skin with silver eyes and hair, wearing dark leather armor.

Lyron waves them over.

Zenkoh: So, what is it you wanted?

Lyron nervously looks between Maria and Zenkoh before focusing on Maria

Lyron: Why did you bring a gnoll?

Maria: She's the friend I said could help you with your problem.

Lyron seems confused but eventually comes to terms with it.

You can't really blame him, gnolls don't have the best reputation so seeing one in town would be cause for alarm.

Lyron: Oh?

Zenkoh: I'm only going to ask one more time, what is it you needed help with?

Lyron: Well, I swear I've seen someone following me for several days now and am afraid I'm being stalked.

Zenkoh: What reason would someone have to even stalk you?

Lyron: Considering I am one of the caravans that transports goods in and out of Terra Novus, more than enough.

Maria: why don't we hide inside the caravan and see if we catch anyone stalking around?

Zenkoh: could work.

Maria: ok, Lyron go about your business in the warehouse while we hide in the caravan and see if we catch anyone.

Some time later

Zenkoh: Do you hear that?

Maria: hear what?

Zenkoh: Someone's getting close, get ready.

Just as the footsteps get close to the opening of the caravan Zenkoh jumps out.

As Zenkoh lands outside and assesses the situation she sees two hooded figures wearing leather armor and masks trying to hide their faces.

The two are caught completely off guard to see the huge 8' tall gnoll come out of their quarry.

Zenkoh: I think I need to ask you to leave. She says this with a slight grin on her face at seeing their surprise.

Quickly the two figures ready what look to be daggers as Zenkoh readies her Long sword and Heater shield.

Zenkoh quickly puts up her shield to block one of the figures' weapons and quickly uses her shield to slam them into the wall.

Just as the other figure thinks they have found an opening at her side Zenkoh quickly whips her shield around to parry the dagger.

Shifting the figure off balance Zenkoh rushes in with a shoulder bash, knocking the figure on their back then stomping on their chest to make sure they stay on the ground.

With both figures knocked out Zenkoh lets Maria know it's safe to come out.

Maria: So Lyron was right, he was being followed.
