Chapter 2- Petition

Natapos ang buong klase ng di ko namalayan.
Nilagay ko na ang mga gmit ko sa loob ng bag ng may biglang maglahad ng kamay sa harapan ko.

"Hi, I'm Geraldine" She spoke softly and smiled at me. Kinuha ko ang kamay nya para makipag-shakehands.

"I'm Jade " I said in cold tone but i still smiled at her

"How's your hand?" She asked me

"O-okay na, hindi na naman masyadong katulad kanina." aI replied

"Sorry for what happened earlier, ako na ang humihingi ng tawad sa ginawa ni ace."

"Ha? bakit ikaw ang humihingi ng tawad? di mo naman kasalanan ang nangyari sa akin kanina tsaka alam kong mali rin ako."

"Pero hindi naman kailangan umabot sa ganto. Kailan ba sya magbabago, nabwibwisit na ko sa kanya. He's so irritating you know." she said in irritating tone

"pfft HAHAHA. Hayaan mo na sya, naipaliwanag na sa akin ni Zach kung bakit ganan yang demonyong yan"

"Anyways, i have to go. Nice meeting you Jade." Paalam nya sakin at kumaway muna sya bago umalis.

Tumayo na ako sa upuan ko ng biglang may lumapit sa akin.

"Hey Jade! Do you have a minute?" Zach spoke softly and he's waiting for my reply. He seems serious.

"Yeah, why?" I answered

"Can we talk in private for a moment?"

"sige, saan ba?"

"Let's talk outside, shall we?" he started to walk outside without waiting for my answer

Zach started to lead ne outside of the classroom

"I just want to ask you something" Zach said as he looks at me

"hmm? tell me, what is it?" I asked him

"We all know that Ace and his friends are causing trouble. Can you join our petition? We all want him to step down as the class president" He looked at me and he spoke softly

"O-oo naman"

"Thank you so much. We only have a week left to collect more signatures. We all hate the way that he treats other students I hope you understand why we are doing this" He looked concerned again.

"Yes, i understand."

" We really want to prove it that his ego can't take over, and the most important part is that we want to make our school an environment where it is safe for everyone" he looked down again and he took a deep breath. "It's really for the benefit of the school and it's a win-win situation for eveybody. I hope we have your support, Jade" Zach sounded sincere

I sighed "Yeah, you're right"

"Thank you" He smiled again and he looked at me "We will start our petition tomorrow, can you wait for us at the courtyard before class starts?"

"mhm sige, kita na lang tayo bukas. I have to go."

"Thanks again, Jade. We're counting on your support"

"As always, Zach."

"See you tomorrow" Zach said and he started to walk away. After a few minutes, he met other people with the same idea as him as they gathered around the courtyard with a piece of paper that reads "Sign petition to remove Ace on the class presidency"

Umalis na ako sa building namin at nagpunta sa labas ng school para maghintay ng taxi. Sandali lang naman akong nagintay dahil may dumating na rin agad, siguro dahil alam nilang maraming pasahero rito kaya nagpunta sila.
