"Ah, there's our lisichka." Malik sing-songed as I walked into the kitchen. I pursed my lips. He chuckled to himself and took a seat at the dinner table. I shrugged my bag off and decided my room sounded as good as any place. Malik tutted and snatched a hand around my arm. Well, there goes that plan. "Leon wants to see you." Oh shit. Malik gave me an innocuous grin. He let go of me and stood.

"Come on, I'll take you to him." Malik began walking to the living room. Oh god oh god. Just calm yourself, Yulia. Deep breaths. I cautiously followed my older brother into the lounge. He moved as if to go upstairs but suddenly came to a stand still. He turned and cocked a curious brow at me.

"Uh, so um," I cleared my throat, "where is he?" I stuffed my hands in my pockets. Malik snorted.

"Follow me." And he opened the door.

The door.

The door.

Not just any door...

The basement door.

My feet were stationery, not by choice of course. This couldn't possibly be happening, I must be dreaming! Malik, standing not two feet from me had just opened the rosewood door and was now inviting me into the basement. The very basement I was specifically told not to enter unless "I had a death wish."

"Is... is this a joke?" I fought hard to find my voice.

"Far from it, sweetheart." He teased. "Let's go, Leon doesn't like to be kept waiting." Malik began his descent down the basement steps. I however, kept my wary gaze on the entrance. The last time I found my way here I was greeted by a bloody Malik and forcibly dragged away. Now, Malik was sherparding me down here like he was hosting a tea party. Despite my current predicament, I found a smile tug at my lips at the thought of Malik hosting a tea party. Yeah, right...

I took my first step, noticing a golden glow emmiting from below. A heavy pit formed in my stomach. Flashbacks of a beaten and bloody Malik flashed though mind vividly like a clip show. How he fell unconscious and my screams died out.

"Are you coming, lisichka?" Malik poked his head around the bottom of the staircase. He placed his hands on his hips dramatically, as though he was impatient at my expense.

"I uh..." The words died down on my lips. I shuffled uneasily on my feet and toyed with my fingers. "I thought you told me never to go down here." I admitted truthfully. My brother laughed.

"That's right I did." Malik doubled back in laughter and wiped a stray tear away. "Oh lisichka, what are we going to do with you?"

"Hopefully forget this all ever happened?" I suggested. Malik waved my idea away with the flick of a wrist.

"Not gonna happen."

"Am I in trouble?" I blurted, unable to hold myself from asking the million dollar question.

"I don't know, what do you think?" He crossed his tattooed arms. I scratched my head.

"I don't think I should be."

"Lisichka, I'll let you in on a little secret. If Leon himself tells you to come down here," Malik gestured towards the room, "then you're most certainly in some deep shit." I gulped, now feeling more repulsed from entering the basement. "Man," he ran a hand through his dark locks, "what did you even do?"

I glanced at the floor then slowly met my brother's eyes. "I talked to the Winchesters when Chris said not to?" I asked sheepishly then shrugged. Malik's eyes immediately went dark at the mention of the Winchesters. Oh shit, way to go, Yulia. I mentally facepalmed.
