It was very cold during the night, so I decided to wear Jay's sweatshirt overtop my change of sweat pants and a t-shirt, or as I like to call them, pajamas. I thought it was a little embarrassing at first, but it was so chilly I didn't care. Stupid January weather. And speaking of stupid...
Leon, who's somehow my brother, is literally ruining my life. Yes, that sounds petty, but if you were me, right now in this exact moment, you'd be saying the exact same thing.
"Lisichka! Move your ass, lets go!" Malik was the first to show up completely uninvited in my room. Leon wasn't joking. Oh my god I hate my life. I groaned loudly, more frustrated than annoyed. "Come on little Yulia, up and at 'em! We've got a long run ahead of us." I heard Malik approach me, but I was too tired to tear my head from my pillow, my very soft pillow may I add.
"Is she ready?" I heard a low, deep voice sound from my door. Dimitri.
"Does it look like she's ready?" I heard Malik snort. I finally snapped when he started toying with my hair and creating a gigantic knot.
"Ugh, cut it out Malik"! I shot straight up and swatted at his hand.
"Ah princess, it's about time you awoke from your beauty sleep." He gave a mocking bow, eyeing me with twisted amusement.
"Let me fucking sleep." I grunted, and covered myself with my blanket. Oh yes, I was well aware that the majority of my brothers preferred me not to cuss, but at this damn hour, and dealing with these damn restrictions, not to mention damn Malik, I was loosing my damn cool every second.
I sighed in content when I resumed closing my eyes and getting the sleep I deserved. Maybe that actually shut him up. I was just drifting off when something solid wrapped around my ankle, and slid me off my bed.
"Ah! What the hell?!" I cried, now sprawled out on the floor tangled in my blanket. Malik stood triumphantly over me, watching with delight.
"So lisichka," he crossed his arms observingly, "You really do have a temper, and are really bad at following orders. Well, don't worry, I'll be changing that." For some reason that really left me unsettled, especially now that he was literally approaching me like a snake getting ready to strike.
"Leave me alone!" I demanded. Malik bent over and picked me up like I was nothing, all the while I began kicking and screaming with all my might. My blanket fell to the floor, and my limbs kicked hard trying to rid myself from my snake of a brother. His muscular chest vibrated as he let out a low chuckle.
"I swear to god-" I warned.
"You will do no such thing, lisichka." Malik said calmly, although his voice carried a threat. He carried me right out of my bedroom door into the hallway. Holy fuck it was still dark outside! When I realized that Malik planned to carry me downstairs to some unknown destination, I began attempting my escape again.
I ended up kicking the wall which shook some of the paintings hanging up.
"Easy baby sis, we're just going to cool you off is all." Cool me off? My eyes widened when I considered the many possible situations, most torturous. One option stuck like glue in my mind, which involved water.
"No, no, no! Malik! Please, please put me down, I-I'll be good!" I begged to no avail. It was winter and he planned to throw me in some cold water? That was plain messed up.
"What's going on here?" A voice demanded. I was so glad to see it was Chris, dressed in his gray running gear.
"Chris, oh my god Chris, help me!" I begged. He looked at me in Malik's arms.
