JUNGKOOK

The weather today was perfect.

The bright sun had him
itching to get out of the
office and explore the city
he might be calling home
in the near future.

And of course, it would
give him an excuse to see
Jimin again.

He couldn't explore Seoul
without his own personal
tour guide, after all.

He knew that Jimin had the
day off and all of Jungkook's important meetings for the
day were already over before noon, so he decided to skip
the afternoon conference
calls and rent a shiny red convertible.

When he honked the horn in front of Jimin's apartment,
he almost clapped his hands
in anticipation of what the
other man would say.

And he definitely wasn't disappointed by his reaction.

Jungkook waved when he
saw Jimin's head poke out
from behind the door and
then honked again, motioning
for him to come outside.

"What in the world are you doing?" Jimin asked, laughing.

He was regarding Jungkook
and the car with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.

"That is so not the car for
Seoul."

"That's what they said at
the rental place too." He confessed.

"But it's the perfect car for
a day like today."

"I just had to get out of the
office and enjoy it."

Jungkook raised his eyebrows, unsure of what to say next
but hoping that Jimin
would go easy on him.

"And you just... ended up
here?"

"Well." He shrugged.

"I was hoping you might
want to enjoy the day with
me." There. He'd said it.

Now he just had to hope that
his hunch was right and he  wouldn't turn him down.

Jimin looked down at his
t-shirt and shorts.

"I'm not really even
dressed." He said, grimacing
as he ran a hand through his uncharacteristically messy hair.

"I haven't even been awake
for very long."

"I think you look sexy." He
said, meaning it.

"Besides, we're not going anywhere fancy and your
hair would just get messed
up anyway." He winked, then patted the seat next to him.

"Come on, it'll be fun!"

Jimin rolled his eyes but the
hint of a smile played at the corners of his lips.

"Fine." He sighed.

"Give me five minutes."

Jungkook watched as he disappeared back inside
then flipped through the radio stations until he found one
he thought Jimin might like.

And then after almost exactly five minutes the other man reappeared, perfectly coiffed
and ready to go.

"How'd you even manage
that?" Jungkook shook his
head incredulously.

"I mean, you looked great
before but damn." He could
Not resist the opportunity to
look Jimin up and down as he
slid into the passenger seat.

"You're going to make it
really hard for me to
concentrate on the road."

"I'll try not to distract you
too much." Jimin replied with
a grin, reaching down and
taking Jungkook's hand.
