JUNGKOOK

"I wish you didn't have to
go." Jimin said.

The day they'd both been dreading had arrived and
even though the separation
was only going to be
temporary, it was still
bittersweet for Jungkook.

"I wish I didn't either."

"But at least when I come
back, I'll be here to stay."

"And hopefully the three
weeks until I'm back will
fly by."

He tried to sound upbeat but truthfully, he didn't want to spend three hours apart
from Jimin.

Three weeks was going to
feel like an eternity.

"Yes, hopefully." Jimin said.

"Plus, it'll give me some
time to get situated with
my new job, I guess."

Jungkook knew that even
though Jimin didn't sound
excited at the moment, he
really couldn't wait to start working for the marketing
firm that he'd interviewed
at the day before.

He smiled as he remembered
the excited phone call as
soon as the interview ended.

"That's right." He agreed.

"They'll probably keep you so busy there, you won't even
have time to think about me."

"Whatever." Jimin rolled his eyes.

"God, I haven't stopped
thinking about you since we met."

Jimin got up from the bed
where he'd been sitting while Jungkook packed, closing
the distance between them.

"And when you come back,
we're both going to be busy working new jobs."

"I know we've decided to
see where things go but I
want you to know that if it
starts to get overwhelming
with work."

"And me... us, I mean... I
just want to make sure that we're communicating with
each other so there aren't
any surprises."

Jungkook took Jimin's hands
and kissed him on the
forehead.

"I promise that there won't
be any baby."

"I meant it when I said I
wanted a second chance
with you and I don't intend
to blow it."

"You've made me feel alive again, even more than you probably realize."

"And yeah, I'll have a lot
going on when I move here
we both will but I want to
face it with you."

"I don't even want to think
about it any other way."

Jimin nodded, then smiled.

"I was hoping you'd feel that
way but damn." He sighed.

"Now that you've said that,
it's just going to make me
miss you even more."

"I'll call you so much, you'll probably get sick of
me." Jungkook said and
laughed, leaning in for a
quick kiss before continuing.

"But you know, we do have
a little time before I have to
be at the airport."

He raised an eyebrow suggestively as his fingers
played along the hem of
Jimin's shirt.

"Maybe we could do some
thing that would give us both
a little inspiration during
those three weeks apart."

Jimin's eyes sparkled in anticipation as Jungkook
raised his shirt a little and
when Jungkook's fingers
brushed against the taut
skin of his stomach, he
sucked in a quick breath.
