The trip back to Haranya wasn't bad, and both the pups were safe. I figured docking in Lutesong Harbor would've the best option, and go to Juan's Ranch from there.
I docked in the port, anchoring the ship and stepped onto the wooden dock. The pups were on Arashi as he followed me deeper into town. I stopped in front of a blacksmith, who was busy pounding away at a katana. "Got any mythic daggers?" I asked, he looked up at me, nodding slowly. "How much?" His eyes narrowed, I didn't blame him since I looked dirt poor.
"120g per" he answered simply in a deep voice. Shrugging I took a small bag from my side, handing it to him.
"There's 240g there, if you don't believe me feel free to count it yourself." He glared at me, taking the bag and putting two daggers in its place. I smiled, "thank you, go ahead and sell these old things if you want, or melt them." I said, placing my old daggers down and sliding the new ones in their sheathes.
I walked over to a armor maker, looking at a leather set. "How much?"
"For the entire set? About 90g I'd say" the merchant said. I nodded and gave her a different bag of money and took the armor.
I hopped onto Arashi and left town, wouldn't be long before those two saw that I gave them copper. We rode towards the ranch, everyone was hungry since we haven't eaten since training days ago.

-

The ranch was quiet, there was only one other firran here. "Juan? Got any formula and vita root?" I yelled, he was probably feeding his cows on the other side of the barn. He walked over with a couple bottles and some root, handing it to me, "Thanks" I uttered as I gave the root to Arashi.
I picked up one of the pups gently, letting it drink, for Nuian spawn they were pretty cute.
"Thieving from Nuians again, eh?" Juan asked, "Because we both know that they would've killed you if you were spotted."
The pup continued to suckle on the milk as I nodded. "Yeah, I thought I could sell 'em, but I'm not so sure anymore..." I trailed off as I noticed the other Firran wander over, his greatsword strapped to his back.
"What's your name, Battlerage?" I asked, turning to him.
"Ruju" He answered. A small 'meow' came from behind him. "And that's Ninja" he smiled. "What's yours?"
"Hakumei," I said, then turned my attention to Ninja, "used your Gilda to buy her?" I questioned, observing the small cat at Ruju's side. She had short black fur that shone in the sunlight.
He nodded, "yeah, her and my snowlion get along really well, they've helped me with several missions."
Juan piped up, "You two can stay as long as you like, I have some work to do around the ranch." And nodded his goodbye's before walking away.
I turned back to the pups, who had climbed up on Arashi, and whined at nothing. "I still have no idea what to name them..." I muttered
Ruju looked over, his tail swaying from the breeze. "Hmm..." He thought, "how about Apex for the white one and Kronus for the black one"
The pups' ears pricked at the names, they seemed to like them so why not? "Yeah" I agreed, "I like it."
I saw a small smile come across his face. Who knows, maybe having this guy as a friend wouldn't be to bad.
I tucked Apex and Kronus in the side pouches of Arashi's saddle and mounted. "You know, if you'd like, we could start a guild once we found enough people."
"I'd love to"
"Feel free to send letters anytime, I plan to head for Hasla soon, I heard it's nice this time of season"
"I'll be sure to. Farewell, Nui be with you." he purred
"And you," I purred back. And with that, I headed for Hasla.

-

I had gotten to Windscour as the sun set below the land. Above the cliff face I could see tribal houses that rested in Falcorth Plains, my homeland. Though the houses weren't of my tribe it still made me homesick.
A large gust nearly blew me off Arashi, snapping me out of my thoughts. "It's to windy out here, we need to find shelter" I spoke to Arashi, yelling so he could hear me above the wind.
I ducked down almost laying on the saddle to avoid getting blown off, while Arashi darted for an abandoned house and stepped inside. Unmounting, I shut the door and used a chair to keep it closed. "Ok, settle in I guess... It's gunna be a long night." I said, getting Apex and Kronus out of the saddle and holding them in my arms. Arashi curled around us to give us warmth. Soon after that I fell to the endless void that was sleep.

-

I woke with the sun the next morning, prodding Arashi from his slumber. It wouldn't take long to arrive in Hasla, although earlier the better. I tucked Apex and Kronus within the saddle, mounting and riding off.
The wind wasn't as strong as last night but there were a few branches that were blown off trees and onto the path.
I hope that there is a trainer somewhere within Hasla, Apex and Kronus need to learn their purpose as wolfhounds- defending their master.
I also hoped that I'd be hearing from Ruju again, maybe he'd be heading this way soon. We needed to befriend more adventurers if we're to start a guild, then eventually get our name out there by killing the Red Dragon- or the Kraken- either would make us hero's.
