The barren savannah of Windscour soon turned to a lush forest, marking the boundary into Hasla. Apart from Caenord, this is where all the badasses and known fighters were. Those from the other continent also came here, assuming they were lucky enough to live long enough for the travel.
Many of the towns here has guards that would defend all races, as this was the place to get the parts for obsidian weapons, and the only place.
It didn't take long for me to arrive at a town, though it was small there was a post owl. Mail from Ruju perhaps? I dismounted Arashi and walked up to the owl. It had a clockwork eye, so it must've been injured at some point.
"Anything for Hakumei?" I asked, my Northern Falcorth accent sounding heavier in this place. The bird chirped a 'yes' and placed a letter in its beak, letting me take it. "Thank you," i said politely before walking away.
I sat on a bench, examining the letter in my hands. "Ruju" escaped my lips quietly as I read the name of the sender. I took the letter out of the envelope and read it.
"Hakumei, hope you're fairing well in Hasla, if you're reading this that obviously means you're safe. I'll be heading your way once I finish up my business here, I need to deliver something to Silent Forest, so maybe about a week? Better get settled in, Hasla is always nice, even in the cold seasons it'll make a good base for that guild we takes about.
Anyways, I must be off now. Nui be with you.
- Ruju"
I folded the paper up gently, as if I was afraid to damage it, and put it in my pocket.
Getting a guild base? A large house would be cheaper and bigger. The only area that sells houses is Mahadevi, I could take a few Airships to get there, and be back by morning.
Sighing to myself, I lead Arashi to the stablehand. "Keep them overnight, eh? Here's a lil bit extra so you keep the whole 'wolfhound' thing hush hush, ok?" I said, giving him 5g. He nodded and I headed over to the Airship docks, the one to Rookborne was just landing. Plenty of time to climb these hellish stairs.

I was with my thoughts for the next several hours, only hearing the chatter of talking when I was transferring ships, even then it was minimal.
It was nice to finally land in City of Towers, I hadn't been here since training. I went up to the ownership building, a small Quartz structure, and went inside.
An older Harani was inside, her hair was silver, almost white. "Hello, I've come to seek a mansion in Hasla." I spoke firmly, but you could still hear the kindness in my voice.
"Right to the point I see" she responded, her voice was raspy, I didn't really expect anything different. She turned and walked into a room behind her area, grabbing something and coming back out.
"This is a lovely home in the Northeast corner of Hasla, 8 rooms, 3 baths, and a large kitchen and living room."
'Damn' I thought.
"How much?" I asked, it couldn't be cheap if it was that large.
"1,200g"
I was stunned, but honestly I wouldn't find anything better, and I still had enough. I untied a bag from my belt, and placed it near the Harani. "1,200g" I sighed, "but it's worth it"
She smiled and handed me a key, "enjoy it"

It was a short trip back to Hasla, only because of the Airships. Arashi and the pups were waiting for me at the stable where I left them, happy purrs exiting their throats when they saw me. "I wasn't gone that long," I mumbled, gripping the reigns from Arashi's saddle and mounting. Apex and Kronus had their heads poked out of the saddle pouches, tongues hanging out with a slight pant.
We were still at the southern end of Hasla, near the gates to Windscour, so it'd be a long trip to the new mansion. I thought I should reply to Ruju again, and give him the location to meet at, and scribbled down a small note. We rode over to the mail owl and I gave it the letter, then headed north.
There weren't many people though here, though they mainly gather in the southeast corner to get their Hasla weapons. It would be nice to have the whole northern half for the guild, prime area for building our ranks.

I arrived at Veroe just after sunset. The city was beautifully lit with lanterns, the stone pathway reflected the moonlight. I knew that the house was just below the buzzing city structures on the cliff face, a spot for a prime view.
As we passed a mail owl, it started squawking loudly so it'd catch my attention. I stalked over and gently took the letter it carried in its beak, opening it slowly.
"Great news! I'll be heading for Hasla in the morning, meet me at Veroe when the sun's at its peak? See you there!
-Ruju"
I could feel a smile forming at the corners of my mouth, my tail swaying behind me. I swiftly bowed to the mail carrying owl before turning and moving quickly to the home that would begin an amazing adventure.
