I woke up the morning after Ichi moved in. Everyone was still asleep in their beds, so I crept quietly downstairs and started on some breakfast. It wasn't anything special but hey, food is food guess.

The stairs behind me creaked loud enough for me to hear. "Good morning, Ruju," I spoke without turning my head. He replied with a tired 'grunt' and plopped himself down on a chair, laying his head on the table.

Quiet footsteps pattered on the floor a few minutes later, "Morning, Ichi," I said, once again not turning my head. "There's some vegetable bread and sweet soup if you guys want some." I took a bowl of soup and a piece of bread before sitting down next to Ruju.

"You guys want to go into town? I can teach you some of the alchemy stuff I as talking about," Ichi suggested.

"Sounds good," I replied, Ruju agreed too.

Once we had gotten into town we all got lunagems to put on our weapons. I got two that made my daggers stronger, and Ruju got the same thing for his great-sword. Ichi was just going to teach us since she already added stuff to her staff.

Attaching them was fairly simple, and it caused both my daggers to give off a slight green glow after. "Ruju, want to test how strong they are now in a duel?" I asked. I was itching to fight again, I hadn't since training.

A grin spread across his face as he unsheathed his greatsword and held it in a defensive stance. I smirked while gripping my daggers loosely in my paws. In a swift move, I darted to his flank and triggered my stealth, causing me to go transparent.

Ruju looked around, mildly confused. I jumped onto his back, using the claws on my feet to latch onto his armor. I pushed both of us forward making him topple over and drop his great-sword. With my stealth attack ending, he threw me several meters away before retrieving his sword. Ruju lunged at me, and swung the flat side of his sword.

It hit my side harshly, sending me back to the ground. I took in a deep breath as I pushed myself forwards. I used my smaller size to compress into a ball and roll under his legs, springing up behind him and put my daggers to his neck. "I won," I whispered in his ear then sheathed my weapons.

"You're a good fighter," He commented, hauling his sword into its sheath on his back.

"As are you," I replied. I looked over at Ichi, who was wide-eyed. "Enjoy?" I asked. She nodded, not quite able to talk.

We walked around town until sunset, then headed home. "Today was a nice day," Ichi said, we all agreed.
