It was just after sunrise when I woke up, the sky was painted with reds and oranges that imitated a fiery blaze. Ichi was joining us officially today, which means that we only need to find two more people before we can register as a guild.
My excitement took over and I shook Ruju awake, "Hey," I whisper-yelled, "Wake up." He groaned loudly and rolled over, falling out of bed in the process.
"Ow.." Ruju rubbed his eyes and looked up at me, "When you said we'd help Ichi, I didn't think you meant before dawn. Is she even awake yet?" He asked.
I shrugged, "Probably not, we can wait a couple hours before going over."
Ruju crawled back into bed, shoving his face into the wool-filled pillow, "Good, then go back to bed" He said, though it was hard to hear him speaking into the fabric.
I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep again so I grabbed my daggers and went into town with Arashi. It was pretty lively even though it was so early. Firran elders were strolling the streets, casting glances at the few merchants that were selling this early before continuing at their steady pace.

I returned with Arashi to the house a couple hours later, Ruju was waiting for me outside. His great-sword was strapped to his back, and Ninja was at his side. "You're going to scare Ichi if you bring that sword." I said, sliding off Arashi's back.
"You're bringing your daggers, I'm bringing my sword." He resorted. I sighed and motioned for him to get on Arashi. He sat where the saddle ended, leaving him on bare back, while Ninja squeezed herself into one of the saddle's pockets. I mounted and turned us towards Ichi's house and rode.
Ichi's door was open when we got there, Mikkusu was sitting in an open window looking inside. I hopped off Arashi and walked inside, Ruju was close behind. Ninja was in the corner of my eye meowing to Mikkusu. "Morning, how're you doing?" I asked her.
"Quite well, and you?" She responded.
"I'm well too, thanks for asking."
We spent most of the morning putting her few belongings in a box and cleaning the farmhouse out. She had told me and Ruju that she was putting the place up on the auction house. I kept glancing at her staff, and she must've noticed as she spoke, "It's made from a thunderstruck log, with archeum dust infused into it. Made it myself, actually."
"Really?" I asked, not many people could make anything infused with magic, and when they could it never came out this good. "I'm impressed, maybe you could teach me how to make something like this?" Her staff was very lightweight, easy for carrying during battle and good for casting.
Ichi nodded, "Of course, I could teach Ruju too if he wants." He looked up from the area of floor he was sweeping, shaking his head.
"I don't use any magic, so putting archeum into a great-sword for me would be a waste." Ruju said as he swept the dust outside.
We both nodded in response, I didn't use magic either but it fascinated me and I had wanted to try it, but never had a tutor until now.
The house was finally clean, and the stuff Ichi was bringing was contained into two small boxes. "Do you happen to have a Leomorph or Snowlion?" I asked. I didn't think Arashi could handle three grown young adults and two Sabrefangs.
"Uh, I don't," She said
"I can walk back, I was thinking of going into town for a while anyways," Ruju suggested.
"Ok, I'll see you back at the house," I turned to Ichi, "Let's each take a box, and I can put Mikkusu in the saddle." Ichi agreed.

"Whoa," Ichi breathed as she walked into the house, "One room is the side of my old house, this must've costed a fortune."
"Yeah, just what I got from completing my training." I spoke. Ichi was wondering through the house like a little kid, I found it a nice sight and could imagine what she was thinking. She ran upstairs to where the bedroom and balcony were.
"One room for everyone to sleep in?" She asked, turning to me.
I nodded, "Yes, but I feel like it makes us all closer." I smiled, I could tell she liked it already, even though she's been here only five minutes.
I helped her get settled in, which only took an hour. Ruju got back about halfway through and joined us. "Our group is growing" He grinned.
