We got up the next morning before dawn, "With all the skills you learned yesterday, you will work to capture at least one person from each group. They each have a different color of this." He threw a leather jacket at us, ours was black. "Get two daggers from the table and off you go."
We glanced at each other, some looked confused, though I felt confident. I stepped forward, grabbing the daggers, and slid them into their sheaths. After nodding a goodbye to our trainer I disappeared into the wilderness.
I found myself in the trees by Yearning River, the sun shining through the leaves. I heard voices, and instinctively leaped into one of the trees, pulling my tail up near my feet and triggering my newfound stealth ability. Three Harani walked under the tree, I leapt down behind them, still unaware of my presence. I lept forward, my daggers drawn, and landed one one of the Harani. I slashed at the other two, cutting each of them of the cheek and arm. They ran back to their camp as I held my blades against the captured Harani's neck. "Looks like you're my first prisoner," I hissed. I noticed he had a dagger with him, without thinking twice I grabbed the sheath that concealed it and strapped it to my back.
I walked him back to camp, keeping myself aware of our surroundings, nothing was coming. The trainer took the Harani from me once I got to camp. "You'll be waiting here till this activity is over." He said, kindness hinting within his strong voice.
I went up to Hadir Farm, surely someone would be up here. My ears twitched as I heard bushes rustle, and a well built Firran lunge at me. He had me pinned within seconds but I drew my daggers, slashing them at his chest.
He recoiled and backed off, though I leapt forward, pinning him under me. I lifted him to his feet, and tied his hands behind his back with the bottom of his shirt, dragging him with me back to camp.
When I got back the rest of my group
had the other two team members. The trainer took the Firran, unbinding his hands. "Well done!" The trainer called, he turned his head to the captives, "you can return to your camps, we'll be heading to Caenord in the morning."
They walked out of the camp, their wounds covered with cloth. I glanced at the trainer, our eyes meeting. "I didn't hurt any of them to bad did I?" I asked.
He shook his head, then raised his voice to address the rest of the group, "you're done for today, we'll be heading for Caenord in the morning to see who is ready and who will train longer. Go get some sleep."
I yawned, heading straight for the stables. Arashi was curled up asleep, I laid next to him doing the same.

The next day started long before dawn, mounting our Snowlions and riding to Caenord. My skills seemed stunning, I fought off three Harani at once, and capturing two opponents, both of them male as well. Surely I would be free to explore? Though who knows, what's another week of training, of war games, I'd learn more useful skills.
All the groups gathered outside Caenord, and the trainers stepping forward to face the group. "All of you did great, though in the end, black team won. Out of the five in every group, the two best within each will be done with their training. They can stay if they wish that however." He spoke, his voice was rough, like he got a bad nights sleep.
Our group leader stepped forward, "Of my group, Hakumei and Tsuki."
My eyes lit up, and my ears pricked. "Please step forward."
We both obeyed, and the other groups members were called.
"If you wish to stay. Then do. Otherwise, may Nui be with you."
