Alarms are the most annoying thing in the world, but I need mine otherwise I would never wake up for school. Only having super wolf hearing makes the alarm sound so much worse than it used to before all the changes started to happen.

I reach out of the duvet grabbing my phone and switching the sound off, it's then that I notice I have a text, I swipe the phone opening up a message from Cole.

From Cole;

Hey Bree it's me, hope it's not too early. I was hoping we could meet today, in the day. Would you mind skipping again to meet me? It's ok if you don't want to, just asking :) x

I smile at the message in front of me. Bless him, he wants to know if I'd skip school for him, how cute, still smiling I click reply and type back a reply message.

To Cole;

Na not too early, my alarm woke me up. I don't mind meeting you; school sucks so I can skip. Where'd you want to meet? x

Cole and I continue to text back and forth while I get dressed and apply makeup. We arrange to meet a couple streets away from where I live which gets me a little suspicious but I'm not going to pass up on meeting up with a hottie who's got some kind of interest in me, that would be stupid.

Once ready I make my way downstairs to find my dad's already left for work, which is lucky for me as I don't have to make up some excuse as to why I'm not walking to school with McKenna today; that would be hard as we've walked to school together ever since we were allowed to walk to school alone. I grab my stuff shoving it all in a small side bag and make my way up the street while texting McKenna to ask her to cover for me at school, not that I'd have to as she'd probably do it anyway. When I reach the top of the street a reply from McKenna comes through.

From McKenna;

Please be careful and don't do anything stupid. I'm a text away if you need me. Speak to you later x

Rolling my eyes at the message I continue to make my way to my meeting point with Cole. My thoughts wonder over why he wants to meet so suddenly but I try to push them away hoping he just wants to hang out. Yet something, I don't know what, plays on my mind. Something is telling me today is important.

I round a corner picking up a familiar scent, that's one of the things I've started to get the hang of these past few days and that's sniffing out the people I know, McKenna, my dad and Cole's scents are implanted in my mind. I know them from streets away sometimes. Following my nose I soon reach our meeting point to find Cole leaning up against a wall looking as handsome as ever.

"Hey you," I say announcing my presence

"Hey," he replies as he leans in towering above me before pulling me into a hug, his scent fills my nose stronger than ever, I inhale deeply taking in every smell I can. "Shall we go; I want to show you something?"

I furrow my brows confused but follow quickly behind Cole as he takes the lead heading down the street. We make it about half way down then turn into an old dirty alleyway, the smells down here are disgusting and make me fill sick to my stomach, at one point I have to hold my breath so I don't throw up all over the place.

"Where are we Cole? What is this place?"

"This my dear Brianna is my new place. I figured if I'm going to stay here for a while then I'm going to need somewhere to live."

"But here?" I question

"Well I don't exactly have a lot of money so it'll have to do for now. Just stop judging and come inside, it's not as bad as you think," Cole encourages me and I sigh and give in.
