CHAPTER SIX : WHEN SPARRING GOES WRONG

Satoru Gojo was assigned a week long mission away from Tokyo. Considering that Itadori didn't seem like the introverted type, he assigned Kaori to look after him.

As expected, Kaori was apprehensive and tried to think of some kind of excuse. But Gojo was one step ahead of her. He had already told all her classmates that she was taking a week long mission too. And suddenly, Kaori couldn't say no.

Yes, Gojo may have been manipulating the situation a little bit, but he knew it would be good for Kaori. She would never voluntarily go back to the house knowing that Itadori was inside, that's just how she worked.

And at first, Gojo genuinely felt bad when she was calling him non-stop on the first day. Then on the second day, it was three times. On the third day, only once. And on the fourth day, there was nothing.

So as Gojo walked into the old house to check up on them, he found it weirdly empty. The kitchen looked like it had been used but the pans were cold when he touched them. As he walked into the living space, he heard voices.

"You're wasting your talents." A gravelly voice stated.

This caused Gojo to pause. That didn't sound like Itadori. Suddenly his guard was up, what was possibly happening in this house? Then another voice hit his ears.

"My talent for hand-eye coordination? Last time I checked my hand-eye coordination was the reason you're in that position." A melodic voice rang. It was Kaori, but who was she talking to.

"If I had my full power, I would destroy you." The gravelly voice replied bluntly.

"Oh, I'm sure you would." Kaori returned in a tone that indicated she was no longer listening.

Gojo took a step into the living room and looked around, no one was there. So he called out, "Kako?"

"'Toru? I'm in here." Kaori replied, her voice coming from the training area to his left.

So, he pushed the door open, being greeted with the tatami mats and beige coloured walls. This room was a mini training hall. There were a few wooden posts dotted the room which helped to learn manoeuvring, but Gojo was far more concerned with the scene he had walked in on.

In his eye line was the body of Yuji Itadori that seemed to be molded into the wall. After a double take, Gojo realised this was actually Sukuna rather then Itadori. He looked bored, with his head hanging close to the ground and his eyes on Kaori. Yet, he wasn't glaring.

Gojo's eyes trailed to Kaori who was sat in a pile of papers, a plate of pancakes next to her while she was stitch fabric together. She looked unharmed which was good, but also looked extremely unbothered about that fact Sukuna was currently in a wall.

The man looked at his cousin for a while before asking, "What are you doing?"

"Uhhh ..." Kaori glanced at Sukuna before looking back to Gojo, "eating pancakes and making joggers for Nobara."
