CHAPTER FOURTEEN : TEAM TOKYO, GO!
"We'll be starting the event in one minute." Gojo's voice rang out from the speakers.
The Tokyo team had slowly made their way into their starting position in the forest, all of them anxiously waiting for the game to start. Kaori eyed a crow that was perched upon a high tree branch that stared down at them intensely.
Gojo continued his little speech, "But before we begin, let's hear a few words of well appreciated encouragement, from the always eloquent Utahime Iori."
"Huh?" Utahime exclaimed in panic, clearly caught off guard. "Uh, well, I, uhh, guess although during this event some degree of injury will be unavoidable, you should uhhh, helping each other out? Or something? If you can."
"Okay sorry times up." Gojo cut off Utahime's nervous ramble quickly.
"Ugh Gojo you jerk, I wasn't done." Utahime stated with annoyance lacing her tone. This made the Tokyo team all look to the speaker in disbelief. Were they seriously arguing when the event was about to begin?

Itadori threw his thumbs up positively. "Got it!"

"It's low grade," Kaori called to the rest of the group before glancing to Maki in front of her, "you got it?"
"Duh." Maki replied.
As gracefully as a angel, Maki rolled her weapon in her hand, circling it around her body as she approached the curse. Just as she was about strike, Kaori caught a presence approaching them. At rapid speed. And it's cursed energy was increasing by the second.
And it seemed like Kaori wasn't the only one who had noticed it. The demon dog turned it's head in the direction of the cursed energy but didn't make any sound apart from a small whimper, which only meant one thing ...
