A/N: GUYS THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER!!!😭

~GIYUU POV~

I slowly opened the door to Tamayo-san's house, slowly walking inside. Immediately everyone turned to look at me. "Tomioka-san! Where's Sabito-san?" Tanjiro asked curiously. I looked at Tanjiro and gave him a sad expression. His expression changed from one of confusion to shock and then sadness. "I'm sorry, Tomioka-san. I wasn't able to bring back Sabito-san." Tamayo-san politely apologised. I wanted to reassure her, tell her that it wasn't her fault, but I couldn't get anything out of my mouth. After a few minutes of silence I told her I'd be taking my leave and left along with Tanjiro. Later, I'll thank her for her efforts...

~MEANWHILE SABITO POV~

I open my eyes to see my surroundings have changed...Everything was black..."Sabito-kun..." I looked down to see Makomo hugging me with tears in her eyes. "You'll see him again..." Makomo whispered. So, I was finally dead, huh..? I felt tears roll down my cheek. Until now, I hadn't fully grasped that I'd never see Yuu again. I hadn't fully understood those were my last moments on Earth, my last moments with Yuu. Don't cry damnit...This is for the best. I got to tell Yuu what I wanted to tell him, there isn't any other way I would have imagined dying. My last moments on Earth were of use. "Sabito-san." A female voice called out. She had black hair and blue eyes, she looked like the female version of Yuu. She must be Yuu's sister. "Hello, I'm Tsutako Tomioka, Giyuu's sister. I want to thank you for taking care of my little brother. Please know that had you still been living I would have wanted you to marry him." She said with a sad smile. I silently nod my head in acknowledgement while trying to stop my tears from falling. "Sabito." I heard a familiar voice call out. Mom...Dad...! I quickly run to them, hugging them tightly. "We're really proud of you, Sabito..." My mom whispered gently. I looked over to my father wanting him to confirm if this was true. "You did well." He said in a gruff voice. I smiled. This is probably the first time he's said that to me...I'm glad I could make him proud. "GROUP HUG!" Makomo shouted with tears streaming down her face. I chuckled and pulled her in a hug along with my parents and Tsutako-san.

- Giyuu eventually started opening up to the Hashira, surprising them very much. None of them questioned his gradual change in behaviour, happy that he was finally opening up with them. Giyuu is closest to Muichiro, Shinobu, Mitsuri and Rengoku. He also talks to Tanjiro and his friends regularly.
Giyuu still has nightmares sometimes, but is gradually learning how to deal with them. He tries not to resort to cutting in memory of Sabito. He visits Sabito's grave (his human body was buried in Mt. Sagiri.) at least once a year and always makes him flower crowns. He'd tell Sabito stories for hours on end to the point where it concerned Urokodaki a lot. No, he didn't tell Urokodaki about ghost Sabito.

When Giyuu finally died at the age of 25 by the demon slayer mark, he was reincarnated together with Sabito and was finally able to live with him peacefully. In their reincarnated lives they were friends for 8 years before they started dating. They dated for another 6 years before getting married and they adopted a cat.

THE END.
