Chapter 12: HER OTHER SIDE

SASKIA'S POV

"Oh My Gawd!" She grabbed my face and checked the band aid on it. "What happened to you?"
"Trust me, you don't want to know." She burst out laughing, I rolled my eyes and continued reading the book that I borrowed from the library but she took it from me, "What?"
"What happened? Come on tell me."

She even did a beautiful eyes but it was a good thing that the teacher was already inside the room and Shana fixed her chair but she kept eyeing me.

Avoiding Shana's gaze I focused on Aki's desk. Still empty and Sky's words echoed in my mind.

-FLASHBACK-

"Sht! Aki's going to kill me." I wrinkled my forehead, "How long does it take for that to heal?"
"I-im not sure?" He pulled my sweater revealing the stabbed wound I got from him. "Sht! It hasn't healed yet."

He's pacing back and forth in front of me and it's making me dizzy.

"Stop," He looked at me, "It's okay, I'm fine. Besides, I can just use a band aid or concealing cream."
"Right!"

Then he grabbed my hand and went back to the mall, I was just following him and was amused when he stopped in front of Watsons. The sales lady approached us and I was even more shocked when he asked her where the concealing cream was.

"Aish! Enough, that's too much already."
"No, that should heal before that monster returns."
"Then you should get some healing cream."
"Is there such a thing as a healing cream?" I nodded and I thought he was looking for a healing cream but instead he went to the saleslady again and asked. "Where's your healing cream?"
"This way sir." The girl kept smiling while looking at us while I was here, annoyed! "Here sir."

I rolled my eyes once again and while he was putting his healing cream on the cart, I kept putting the others back on the shelf.

"Don't put it back or else I'll buy them by the box."
"Sky, you don't have to. Just buy me some band aid and that's okay."
"It's okay while he's on a missio-- I mean, while he's on hiatus but what if he came back earlier?"
"Did you mean to say mission awhile ago?" He purposely ignored me and I don't want to push. "What are you so scared of? It's not as if he'll care."

He looked at me and flicked my forehead.

"What was that for?"
"Trust me, he will."
"W-what do you mean?"

And he ignored me for the rest of our trip.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

Why would he care anyway? I messed up my hair because of frustration.

"Yes Saskia? Are you with us?"

The whole class looked on my direction and I just smiled and bowed at the teacher.

"Sorry miss."

Shana eyed me suspiciously and her dagger looks are giving me creeps. It reminds me of his brothers.

"Come on Saskia, I thought we were friends?"
"Oh please Shana, don't use that narrative at me." She laughed and continued nagging me. "Aish! fine fine, I encountered Sky."
"Sky did that?"
"You listen first," She nodded "Like I said, I encountered Sky when you left me at the mall and he was being chased by some thugs and I was caught in their game of chase, let's just say i'm in the wrong place at the wrong time."
"We shouldn't have left you there."
"I'm fine, it's just a scratch."
