SASKIA'S POV

I have been pacing back and forth in my room waiting for Luke's call. I want to get out of this fcking place as soon as possible.

The prelim exam was cancelled because of the hunt and the students are getting scarier and scarier plus they are looking for Acantha's daughter - ME.

Incoming Call. . .
LUKE

"LUKE!"
(Relax Princess.)
"Relax? Luke! I will die here."

My voice is shaking with fear and I heard him cuss.

"Please, I want to get out of here."
(I-Im sorry Princess but you c-can't)
"Wh-what do you mean?"
(You must stay there until the hunt is over, or else they will notice.)
"What if they already know?"
(If they did, you wouldn't be talking to me right now.)

I bit my lips and sighed.

(The hunt will only last a week, hang in there Princess, he will take care of you.)

I turned off the call because I heard footsteps coming from outside my door followed by a knock and this time, I panicked!

It's 2 freaking AM!

I waited for another knock but there's none, that's why I immediately hopped on my bed and hid myself under my blanket.

And this time, I cried! I am crying because I fear for my life and my dad doesn't seem to care.

Coming here was really a mistake. I should have just stayed in Italy where my life is so much easier.

I was crying my soul out when my phone rang, and my heart started beating so loud when I saw who was calling.

Incoming Call. . .
Aki

Why is he calling in the middle of the night? What should I do? I can't talk to him like this. I just can't control my emotions right now and I don't want him to pity me.

The ringing stop and a message came in. It was him and I felt butterflies all over.

Aki: Stop crying or I'll break your fcking door.

Oh Aki! I don't know what has gotten to me but I ran towards the door and there he is, standing just in front of my door with his eyes closed and the light coming from the moon illuminating his features.

He's like a Knight Shining in the moonlight.

I ran towards him and threw myself at him, literally. He froze but I felt his hand supporting me.

"It's okay, you're safe."
----------------------------

"You are a wreck!"

I looked at her and she looked more tired than I am.

"Look who's talking, what happened to you?"
"I can't sleep, I keep thinking about the hunt."

I stopped flipping the pages of my book and focused on her.

"What is it that you want the most, Shana?"

She fixed her hair and looked at the students.

"Just like everybody here, we all want to be recognized by our families. We want to be accepted." She looked at me and smiled, "The hunt is an opportunity for all of us, it's one step closer to our families."

I looked around the cafeteria and noticed that all of them looked like they hadn't been sleeping.

"So, what happened to your hunt?"

She threw her head on the table because of frustration,

"I'm starting to lose hope. I looked everywhere for information, even in the archive section of the library, there's no information about the heir of Ms. Acantha, not even her photo, I even asked my brother for help but to no avail, there is nothing!"

I smiled a little knowing that she didn't find anything, and if she had a hard time, then definitely, the others too.

"The only information about Kia is that she is the heir of Acantha, and she was the reason she died.

I continued reading my book when I noticed her staring at me.

"What?"
"Ugh! My brother is asking for you."

Her phone rang and I know it's him. What does he want now?

"Yeah, she's here. Why? Ugh! Fine."

She handed me her phone but I hesitated and if it isn't because Shana was in front, I wouldn't mind cancelling the call.

"Hi Kia." My eyes grew big and my heart started pounding, I think I'm going to pass out. "Kia Hale, the dead daughter of Acantha. How is it that you are alive?"
"W-what do you w-want Sean?"

Shana looked at me suspiciously and I tried so hard to hide the disgust on my face when I heard him laugh on the other line.

"I want you," I bit my lips so hard that it started to bled. "I want you so bad that I am willing to hide your secret with my sister. Dmn, I can't stop thinking about you since the last time we met, I kept dreaming of you inside me."

I turned off the call immediately and grabbed my things, I didn't even bother looking back at Shana when she called me. All I want to do is get out of there.

I ran towards the old gymnasium and as soon as I was about to call Luke, I received a phone call from a new number. I have a big feeling that this is Sean and I am right.

(Just one night Kia, just one night)
"You're disgusting!"

He laughed and I felt chills all over my body when he spoke again.

(I'll give you an hour to decide or else, I will send your information to the entire academy.)

He turned off the phone and all I could do was pace back and forth.

"Would you stop?"

I felt like my soul left my body when I heard him.

"W-what are you do-doing here?"
"What are you doing here? This is my place!"

I immediately turned my back but he caught my attention when he spoke again.

"You know you can't always run away, people will eventually find out who you are."

Sht! He knew.

"H-how?"
"It's not hard if you know who Acantha is because she looked so much like you."
"Then why?" He looked at me with a huge question mark on his eyes. "Why are you not doing anything?"

He stood up and fixed his uniform,

"I'm not interested, plus I can use you." I closed my eyes, as realization hits me that everyone would want to use me for their own good, "so tell me, who was on the other line? They know, don't they?" I unconsciously nodded my head, "Who?"
"S-Sean, Sean Montereal."
"Tsk! That asshole, he wants you isn't it?"

I nodded again and then he left, but before he did, he left me with something to think about.

"I'll do you a favor but you will pay at the right time."
