Chapter 21: CRIMSON HALE

SASKIA'S POV

"Aish, Drey! I told you to hold him down."
"Can't you see what I am doing? Holding him down."

I laughed because Aki is unconscious while these two are tending his wounds and yet he's still giving them a hard time while I am here wiping the blood on his walls.

"By the way Saskia, where did you get a key to his room? I don't even have one."

I stopped and looked at them but they weren't even looking at me.

"Uh," Darn it, should I tell them the truth? Jeez! "S-sky gave it to me," This time they both look at me like they heard me wrong, "He told me to c-check on him."

Blue looked at Drey and he just shrugged, he continued with what he was doing and so am I.

"K-ka-ka-li." I froze and slowly looked at Aki, these two looked clueless. I guess they didn't know that my other name is Kali.
"I think he's delirious, and who's Kali?"

Blue shrugged and stood up. Drey also let go of him and he immediately curved into a ball like he was really cold.

"Let's go Sas?" I nodded because we decided that I will stay at Blue's room for the night and he will stay here. "Where's your jacket?"

I looked around the room for my jacket and saw it near Aki's bed so I went and get it but I froze when Aki grabbed my hands.

"S-st-stay," I looked at him but his eyes were close, and then I looked at Blue who was also looking at Aki and then looked at me and then looked at Drey who was looking at me.
"Well?" Blue asked and I nodded. He smiled and dragged Drey out. "Call when you need us."

He let go of my hand and turned back, and shock was an understatement of what I am feeling right now.

His back is full of scars, he's very young for this number of scars.

I grabbed the towel that Drey used a while ago and went to get a new clean warm water so I can wipe the rest of the blood from his body. I don't know what I'm feeling right now, a mix of emotions is swirling inside my heart.

His scars are not ordinary, they are deep and some are still reddish which means they are fresh and I believe they are from the ball.

I closed my eyes and looked away when he moved, he's still asleep and pain is very evident on his face.

** Knock! Knock!

I was awaken by the knock and looked at the clock and its past 2, did those two forget something? I stood up and opened the door because I am confident that it was either Blue or Drey or even Gray but to my surprise it was Sky.

"Sky?"
"Tsk! He's alive then, didn't he teach you to not just open the door when someone's knocking?" I rolled my eyes, "I could harm you right now and seeing he's not his usual self, he can't help you."
"But you won't," He smirked and I noticed the plastic he was holding. "What do you want?"

He entered the room and closed the door behind him. I walked back for precautions just in case he might really do harm me or something,

"You're not answering your phone,"
"I left it in my room, sorry." I noticed him trying to peek at Aki so I grabbed his hands and led him to the main room. "What happened to you two? How long was he like that?" He shrugged and handed me the plastic. "What's that?"
"Dinner."

I was amused by his recent actions that I can't believe this is the Sky who threaten and attempted to kill me. I think he got uncomfortable and he immediately headed back to the door.

"Lock the door!"

I just nodded and immediately locked the door when he left.

He's weird but I guess he's not so bad after all. I took the plastic bag and was about to set the table when I noticed my photos together with the crumpled papers.

With shaking hands I grabbed the photos and I started to panic when I realized that the photos were taken from the academy, from my room, the mess hall. Everywhere! And every photo has a written message on the back.

I covered my mouth when I read what was written at the back of one of my photos from my room, I was sleeping and the one who took the photo seems so close to me.

'I wonder if she's alive or not'

The other photo was the same but I don't have my blanket and my body is so visible because I am wearing my nighties. Oh my gd!

'Oh Aki, I am so close to putting myself inside her, do you think she'll notice?'

The next photo was the last straw. My tears started falling like a waterfall. I am freaking naked with only my undies. When was this taken? Dmn it! Why can't I remember anything?

"Sht!" He immediately grabbed the photos from me and all I could do was turn my back and try to suppress my sobs but the more I did, the more that I let out a sound. I have been crying my soul out for I don't know how long when he spoke again, "That's enough,"
"I-i-i-im *sob* t-tr-tryi-trying!"
"Try harder!" I looked back and gave him a deadly look. "Dmn it!"

And I didn't expect what he did next! He claimed my lips like he did the first time, it was harsh and all I could do was close my eyes when he bit them, but unlike the first time he didn't stop and then he bit them again and this time I flinched and he stopped.

We were both panting for air when he frustratedly brush his hair using his hands.

"Fck! I can't stop!" He once again claimed my lips but gentler, and this time I responded which surprised him. My heart wants to explode and this is my outlet. Him!

***KNOCK! KNOC! KNOCK!

I opened my eyes but closed them again when I saw him just inches away from me. I felt him move closer to me and I felt some butterflies in my tummy.

'Omg! What should I do?'

*** KNOOOOOCK!

This time we both sat down because of the banging and he immediately stood up to open the door.

"Aish! What do you want?"
"Why? You don't want me here?" It sounded like Blue and I felt like Aki rolled his eyes, "Where is she? You didn't do anything, did --- Aww! Fine."

They both entered the room and it was really Blue, he's giving me a teasing smile so I gave him a deadly look.

"Ooh!" and then he looked at Aki seriously like he means business and Aki just looked at me and sighed.
"She knows." Blue pitifully looked at me and I hated it.

I don't want to live up to what Sky sees me - A damsel.

Blue sat down in front of us while Aki and I sat down on the bed and he showed us his Ipad. I think it is a security footage of the girls dormitory.

"It was already tampered when we got it." Aki nodded and browsed the other footage and I think something caught his attention. "What?" Aki showed him the footage where someone is entering the dorm with a crimson hoodie jacket who creepily looked at the camera before putting the hoodie. "Sht!"
"That's Crimson,"

I looked at Aki and then at Blue, who is he? They both looked concerned. Should I also be concerned?

"Wh-who is he?"
"Crimson Hale, your dad's adopted child."
