SASKIA'S POV
"You did what?!" I shove my face down my desk.
"Aww."
"Saskia, why do you keep hurting yourself? Just admit it,"I shook my head and again my eyes landed on his desk, he was not here yesterday as well.
"I wish I could join you tomorrow but Dad has other plans."
"It's okay."I was fixing my things when I remembered that I was called to the SSG office after class.
"Please be careful,"
"Don't worry about me, I'll see you next week."We bid our goodbyes and she went down the fire exit and I had to go upstairs.
***SPLASH!
Oh come on! Eeew.
"Serves you right,"
"Yeah right Phoebe, what does she want now?"
"Oh, you had a package."I rolled my eyes, how can I handle a package now when I'm soaking wet.
"Catch!"
Dawn threw me the box and all I could do was catch it. These girls are really trying my patience.
-----------------------I immediately checked what was inside the box and I was mesmerized. It's a lacy black swan dress with a mask. I lifted the dress and saw a black envelope.
It's an invitation to a Masquerade Ball entitled 'A Night to Remember' with my name below, I was about to keep it when I saw another note and it was from Luke.
'I'll pick you up tomorrow, Princess.'
- Luke -I almost jumped in enthusiasm when I realized that I'll be seeing my dad tomorrow. It will indeed be a night to remember.
-------------------------------------**RIIING!
(I'm at the lobby)
"Okay, give me a minute."I grabbed my paper bag where my dress is. It's still 6pm but I noticed that there are no students lurking around.
"What are you wearing?" I raised my eyebrow and looked at his tuxedo. "Do I look good?" I smiled and nodded at him.
"I need a place to change" I showed him the paper bag "I don't want to be seen wearing them back at the school."
"It's okay Princess, there must be a place nearby where you can change."I nodded. I was exhilarated, and then I noticed him stopped by the port.
"This is the nearest place I can think of where you can change,"
"It's okay, but please wait for me outside?"He smiled and opened the car door. The good thing is the Comfort Room is located outside the shop.
I can't remember how long we travelled but then I saw a big gate just like the gate of Acantha Academy, I thought it was already the venue but I was wrong since there is still a pathway going to the vast mansion that I can already see.
When we were at least 500 meters away from the mansion, he handed me my mask.
"Let's go?"
We went down the car and he offered his arms which I happily accepted and walked to the stairs.
"Just so you know, you are stunningly beautiful tonight."
I can't help but smile. I observed the place and there were bouncers at the entrance and people were also wearing black.
