CHAPTER 15: UNMASKED

SASKIA'S POV

"I need to stop his bleeding or he won't make it."

I glanced at the man in the back seat and my curiosity got the best of me. I jumped out of the front seat and was about to take his mask off when he struggled in pain as Luke took off the dagger from his legs.

"Can you hold him still?"
"Ahhhhhh!" The man roared in pain as another knife was taken off from his side.

He's breathing is getting faster and faster and I panicked. What if he dies?

"Stay with him, make sure he won't stop breathing."

I looked at Luke and he nodded his head. I entered the car and lifted his head so he could rest in my lap.

When Luke started the engine, I felt a hand touching my face and I was shocked when his breathing slowed down.

"Luke, he's losing it."

I tried patting his cheeks and it was a good thing that he opened his eyes.

I knew it! I immediately took off his mask and horror took over my system.

"A-aki? Oh my gd!" Luke glanced at us and I felt his hand touching my face again and my tears just started pouring, "P-please stay with me." He smiled and opened his mouth but blood gushed out, "No, no, no. SSh! Don't speak," He's now coughing out blood and again my heart just started thumping like crazy, I don't know what to do. I held his hand closer to my face as my tears just kept streaming down my face. I shut my eyes off in hopes that my tears would stop but it's not working. "Luke!"
"S-Stu-Stupid!"

My mouth hung open when I heard that, he was dying and he still had the guts to say I'm stupid.

He smiled and his hand fell! I couldn't move and I think everything stopped moving.

"Aki? NO! AKIIIII!"

His breathing stopped and I think my heart stopped beating as well. My tears just keep coming, it won't stop.

"LUKE! He-he's not b-br-breathing."

I was panicking when he entered a wide opened gate and inside was a mansion. He immediately went down the car and he carried Aki inside.

"Mam Ava? MAM AVA! WHERE ARE YOU?"
"Oh my gd! What happened?"

A woman showed up upstairs and she was tying her hair while rushing down the stairs. She's beautiful!

"Bring him downstairs."

Luke entered the door and I realized that it was another stairway, and below was a basement laboratory.

"Please save him."

She smiled and looked at Luke and then nodded. I guess they were giving each other a signal and then Luke almost carried me outside and then she closed the door.

I can still see what's going on inside since it's a glass window and I looked away when she cut his tuxedo.

I sat down the stairs and he did the same. I was about to ask him about her when he showed me his phone and someone's calling.

"I'll just take this."

He stood up and went upstairs.

I looked inside and I couldn't help but cry when I saw her administering the defibrillator.

'Come on Aki!'

My heart is in so much pain knowing that it is somehow my fault, he protected me, he gave his life for me. HE SAVED ME!

I want to enter the room and I'm about to when Luke shows up with a ringing phone and he's handing it to me.

"I think this is his phone."

I immediately took it and it was Blue who's calling.

(Where the hell a----)
"B-Blue." I cried! I was shaking and panicking.
(Saskia? Is that you?)
"A-aki is" I sobbed even before I could finish what I was saying.
(Calm down Sas, where are you?)
"I-I don't know," I heard him curse and then I looked at Luke, "Wait" I handed Luke the phone "Tell him where we are."

He shook his head but I glared at him. He took the phone and he gave them the directions.

I looked inside and there was already a tube inside Aki's mouth.

"Let's go upstairs, you need to change."

I shook my head and stayed at the stairs. He sighed and went upstairs but just as he opened the door he ran back downstairs.

"I think they're here."

I immediately ran upstairs and I heard the car engines and it was them.

"Sht! What happened to you?" They're looking at my body which has bloodstains. "Are you hurt?" I shook my head and once again I cried. "Sssh! It's okay. Where is he?"

I looked at Luke who was just standing near me and he nodded.

"Follow me," Blue followed him and then Drey came to me and patted my head followed by Gray who placed a coat on my shoulders.

"Thank you."
"Let's go?"

I followed them and then I noticed that they were also wearing a black suit, I tried to reach for the coats pocket and my intuition is right.

A gun!

I immediately put it back when Gray looked back.

"Downstairs," Luke opened the door to the basement.

They all looked at me when the woman shook her head and I think my heart stopped.

"SASKIA!"
