Chapter 16: JUST A DREAM

SASKIA'S POV

"Kali?" I felt a slight tap on my cheeks, I opened my eyes and I saw the face of the woman I am longing to see and hold, am I in heaven? "Good Morning Darling," She smiled at me, the most genuine smile I have ever seen. "Come,"

She offered her hands but I was afraid to take it. Instead, she gave me a hug and patted my back.

"You have grown into a fine young woman." She fixed my hair and I can't help but smile and nod, "Come on, someone's waiting for you." She once again offered her hand and this time, I took it. "He's been waiting."

I wrinkled my forehead, could it be my dad?

"Good morning Princess."

He looked so familiar, where have I seen him again? I looked at my mom and she smiled.

"This is Sky, you attend the same school, remember?"

Sky? Oh my gd! I started panicking and then the white colored walls started turning bloody red.

"Darling?"
"Mom, where's A-aki?"
"Aki?"

I nodded and then my mom and Sky's face started fading, the bloody colored red walls turned to black and then I saw myself being protected by him, the very moment he was shot.

"AKI!"

I immediately sat down while holding my breath and staring at the man in front who is also staring back at me.

"You were dreaming." He handed me a glass of water. "You good?"
"D-drey, where's Aki?" He took the glass of water and stood up, and it's as if my hand had a mind of its own, I pulled the hem of his white polo, he looked at me and smiled. "He's okay, right?"
"You must rest." I shook my head and stood up, I heard him sigh. "If you insist."

I saw him pick a pillow and threw it on the couch and I realized that someone is sleeping there. Blue stood up while raising his hands like he's about to shoot a gun.

"Where's the enemy?" I can't help but giggle, "There's no enemy, is there?"
"No, go back to sleep."
"DREY!!!!!"

Blue's cry echoed in the room and with sleepy eyes, he went back to the couch while squeezing the pillow that Drey threw at him.

We went downstairs and I saw Gray leaving the door to the basement lab.

He smiled at me and my heart jumped in joy, my worries turned into hope and I didn't wait for Drey anymore. I ran downstairs, I want to see for myself if he's alright.

I entered the room and I immediately looked at the machine showing his heart beat, he has a weak pulse but I know he's fighting for his life.

"You're awake," I looked at the couch, I didn't even notice her there a while ago. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine Miss."

I saw her flinch when she heard the word 'Miss' but I don't know how to address her.

"You can just call me Ava." I looked down and I wanted so much to ask her if Aki's okay, "He's fine, he just needs to rest and recover."

I nodded and smiled at her and then I saw Drey outside so I bid my goodbyes to Ate Ava and went outside.

We started walking and I am dying to ask him.

"You were at that Ball." I don't know if I am asking or not, he reached for his pocket and showed me his invitation, "W-who are those men?"

He opened the door and looked at me,

"It's already 4am, let's talk when you wake up."

And before I could even answer him, he closed the door and all I could hear was Blue's snore.

I hugged myself while remembering my dream. Why is Sky suddenly a part of my dream, and then the thing I'm dreading about when I saw Ate Ava in the lab is that she somehow resembled my mom.

Ugh! I couldn't sleep and I unconsciously threw the pillow towards the couch where the sound was coming from. I panicked when I realized what I just did. I immediately closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. I wanted to apologize but I changed my mind when he screamed.

"DREEEEEEEY!"

I heard the door open and I just kept my eyes shut. I'm sorry Drey.

"Wakey wakey!"

I opened my eyes and saw Sky, I immediately covered myself with the blanket and he laughed. I wrinkled my forehead and he leaned closer and gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"I told you not to do that for the hundredth time already," This time I pushed him and he was surprised as to why I did that. "Are you still mad? I'm sorry okay? It's not going to happen again."

I looked around and we are in a skyrise building because all I could see outside is the clouds and some tall buildings as well.

"S-sky what's going on?" He looked at me wide eyed, "What?"
"Hon, you just called my name and now you're asking why?"
"H-hon?"

Sht! What's going on? I looked around the room and was shocked when I saw a portrait of us, and another picture of us on the bedside table. We looked so in love.

"There, that's more like it."

He leaned closer again and this time I covered my face.

"NO!!!!!"
"Are you dreaming again?"
"Drey? Drey? Sht! Where's Sky?" He frowned at me and I heard him mumble.
"She was just looking for Aki this morning and then now she's looking for Sky?"
"I was dreaming? Omg! It's a dream!"

Oh my Goodness! Thank heavens it was just a dream.

"You're really weird."

I smiled and again, I thank all the angels from heaven that it was just a dream.
